The man who brought most of the current players into Division 4? If you think so

brought 2 average teams to 2 ulster finals in 5 years. won one.. drew one ...yea I'll have him back .....almost all managers go stale at inter county level after 3 years. You could count on one hand the number of successful managers who have had longer than 3 years in the job in the last 20 years and many teams have had old managers back again with success 2nd time round ...Malachy is clearly learning and improving as a tactician....is Canavan ?

Malachy got vital experience when coaching Fermanagh which has paid dividends for Monaghan..

I dont think we should be looking him back just yet though, maybe in a few years when some of the newer crop of players have more experience.

Did O'Rourke not fail Fermanagh leaving them in division 4 before walking away before being pushed?

Canavan has had his opportunity to succeed at championship level and failed Fermanagh.

O'Neill wasn't given long enough to rebuild a new team that could have brought Fermanagh its first Ulster title.

O'Neill dont make me laugh ...he cant man manage that was obvious, the great Mick O'Dwyer couldnt train a team, his tactics werent amazing, but all who plaed under him said his man management was amazing...he alwas got players to play to their full potential.........which fermaagh plaers have done that recently ? only a handfull
O'Rourke back for 2015 and yes he should have left earlier than he did last time, he made mistakes, but clearly he learns fast, look he has just taken down the best team around with monaghan who played div 3 all year
