Intermediate final

(Oldest Posts First)

Who will win the intermediate final between warrenpoint and ballymartin. .?
I am a mourne man myself and the big talk is Ballymartin famcy it. And I for one agree with them . They stuffed liatrion and beat AnRiocht . They had a harder route to the final which should stand by them, while warrenpoint had an easy route to the final. Eammon mc evoy of st colmans in Newry has worked wonders with this young team ..

Unless Warrenpoint have a serious off day, can't see any other result than a comfortable win for Warrenpoint. The Junior final has the makings of a very good and much more evenly matched contest, any thoughts on it?

The junior game on Sunday seems like it will be a tighter afair than the intermediate. Would someone like to give me the rundown of both Drumaness' and Kilclief's best players? I already know of both Donal Kennedy and Brian McIlmurray from Drumaness but I'm not too familiar with any current Kilclief players!

Seen the point tank the Kingdom by around 12 points in the league and that was with a few lads out missing. Reckon 12 pint win for the point.

Don't think it will be a 12 point win for the Point but the Point should win. In Mc Aleenan and Mallon they have players more than capable of nulifying the threat of O'Hare and Fitzpatrick. Will Ballymartin be able to keep Mc Garry and Co quiet?

BigWig talking a lot of sense...many people writing Ballymartin off. I'm yet to hear someone say Ballymartin will edge this game and although I do fancy CPN to edge it, there will be less than 2 or 3 points in this at the final whistle...obviously I'm hoping for a Point win but I fancy this to be a very very good game. Point by 2 :)

Unfortunately I was very wrong this ballymartin team are a one man band only for young Ryan o hare. They wouldnt have had scored at all . But fair play to warrenpoint they are a great young team who play an exciting blend of football. Ready for division one this time

I had a fair idea the Point would win this one handy,

Young Ross McGarry should get a county call up after his impressive display

obviously Co football will be a step up , a step I think he is well fit for

Disappointing final very one sided. Warrenpoint the way they are playing must be capable of giving Ulster a good rattle. Ross Mc Garry was impressive, will be interesting to see how he performs in the 1st division next year but Warrenpoint do look a good all round team who still have Ciaran mc Cartan to come back in for the Ulster competition.
