Clare won by 6! 2-18 to 0-18!!! Clare better in first half and limerick better in second! Clare were missing all members of last years under 21s!

I know its a long way away but I hope the Clare team looks like the following for the Waterford game :
1 Kelly
2 Flanagan
3 Dillon
4 O'Donovan
5 Buglar
6 Donnellan
7 Morey
8 Galvin
9 O'Connell
10 Kelly
11 Conlan
12 Cunningham/Shanahan/Collins
13 McInerney/O'Connell
14 McGrath
15 Honan
Davy has a big job on his hands getting the selection right for the championship , hes so many players to choose from its important he doesn't bottle getting the right personnel and right players out on the pitch for Clare , huge opportunity for Clare to reach a Munster final this year with Cork and Waterford looking weak going into the national league

I dont think Shanahan will make the final panel. Certainly one for the future though

Clare 3-13 UL 1-13. Decent result in poor conditions. Nicky O Connell had a stormer by all accounts and kept Fennelly quiet.

Tough game for our younger/smaller players who will trive under firm ground

Clare's next game in Cork is on in 6milebridge on Friday evening. All Clare players for UL are cup tied and cannot play for Clare this Friday which is a pity

Good start to the year for Clare. The players played very well against a strong Tipperary team.

THe big test will be Waterford in two weeks time.

My team is constantly changing, but here is what I would go with for the Waterford game injuries accounted for:

Pa Kelly
DO'D McInerney Flanagan
Bugs Donnellan Barrett
Nicky Morey
Conlon T. Kelly Barrett
Ryan Honan O Donnell/Cathal Mc/Tots

I would like O Donnell given a run. He is as natural a goal scorer as we have had in Clare in as long as I can remember. He might be very young (just out of minor) but he has shown he can mix it up with lads much older than himself.

This is my selection for the opening league game! Both Cian dillion and McGrath are injured a may miss the whole league! I like both Aaron Cunningham and Galvin and they will defo be there or there abouts

What two banner players would you pick for your fantasy Hurling Team?? Conor McGrath last year was a secret weapon for a few teams > can Colin Ryan replace him?!

Eoghan Ruadh Hurling Club are running their Fantasy Hurling 2013 again for the National Hurling League Division 1...

This Year it is FREE Entry, with great prizes... For further details email [email protected] or [email protected]

I would think Tony Kelly would be the free taker. but Ryan is good also

Clare team for today:

P Kelly
D O'Donovan
James Mc
David Mc
Pat Donnellan
Pat O Connor
S Morey
C Ryan
Fergal Lynch
Tony Kelly
Enda Barrett
Podge Collins
John Conlon
Shane O'Donnell

Looks like they will go two up front with Shane and Conlon and pack out the center forward line. With our injuries at the moment, the team is not overly surprising. It will be a very tough close game but we will win it.

Waterford well on top after 20 mins.

2-3 to 0-3. Clare very poor

Half time

Waterford 2-5 Clare 1-7.

Just a point in it. Clare settled down well in the last 15 of that half.

Tony Kelly with the goal for Clare.

Colin Ryan and Tony Kelly playing well.

Brick Walsh and Seamie Prendergast playing well for Waterford.

The bookies called it wrong. Waterford are the better team thus far.
