, I see the road map for inter county is out , no back door in football again no very fair in my opinion they being better off no league and give all counties min 4 championship matches , championship at end June , what I can't understand is If ur county loose first match end June why would that county not be permitted start there club championship,,by mid July there only be 8 teams at most left so why can't other counties start club it's not as if players be gone traveling only my opinion

Club games starting in June. I'd imagine they'll play off club leagues through June, July and August without county players. After this, club championship is due to start the first weekend of September (based off the GAA calendar).

I'd be thinking galway gaa might aim to play the relegation from last year in late august maybe, if the hurlers / footballers don't make all Ireland finals.

How the championships will look is hard to know, the football board need to find a way to reduce senior by 2 teams over the next two years and the hurling board need to reduce their championship by 8. It will be interesting to see how it's approached

Heard the following - County Board meeting Friday to finalise fixtures. Senior league small regional groups. North & City and west. Start date 2/3 week June. Championship September irrespective off when Galway exit championship. Group structure not finalised. Junior League to start Bank Holiday weekend June.

Hopefully there will be more clarity and a road map for clubs soon.
