Wasn't there. Awful fight for any match but I see Bredagh won handy enough 2-13 to 1-8. Frank Mitchell (Down) - Posts: 1075 - 03/10/2019 23:29:53 2241262 Link 0 |
Ports got a win over crans today in the B' Gray cup. Unlike last week ports fought in every position and never looked under pressure. Paddy Mac pulled aff 2 good saves and kept a good net. Frees missed by both sides but better team on the day won. Doesny make up for last week's disappointment but it helps. Decky couldny find balls in the first 1/2 but had loads and loads in the 2nd alf. Shame! cahill (None) - Posts: 2567 - 06/10/2019 21:01:01 2241665 Link 0 |
Nice for the Ports to find their balls at all considering they had disappeared the previous Sunday. We've bigger fish to fry. bricktop (Down) - Posts: 2479 - 07/10/2019 10:33:25 2241741 Link 0 |

What? Are you implying that the Ulster Football Council set the original date so far out to accommodate a football team that hadn't even won it's club championship semi-final? But that wouldn't be fair, would it? bricktop (Down) - Posts: 2479 - 07/10/2019 13:52:18 2241828 Link 0 |
Lol Make sure you fry them before the 27th cos the fire will go out on that date lollllllll

Bredagh play Castleblayney at the weekend in Ulster. What way do you all see it going Farneyabu (Monaghan) - Posts: 12 - 10/10/2019 05:16:25 2242484 Link 0 |
Be tight enough id say. Castleblaney defeated cushendun by a point or so in the final last year correct? Think bredagh beat cushendun in the league this year, where is the game?

Game is in Castleblayney. Yes Castleblayney beat Cushendun in the ulster junior final, really cushendun threw the game away in the last 10 minutes. Not sure of any league results between Bredagh and Cushendun but was shocked to see the bookies have Castleblayney as such big favourites. Been 4 weeks since last championship game while Bredagh played last week which could favour them. I expect it to be a close game and hoping the weather stays decent for it Farneyabu (Monaghan) - Posts: 12 - 11/10/2019 00:33:16 2242710 Link 0 |
The game is in Castleblaney. I always wish the Down clubs well in Ulster but I fear Blaney will be to strong for a very young Bredagh. Frank Mitchell (Down) - Posts: 1075 - 11/10/2019 08:36:42 2242726 Link 0 |

Does anyone really care about this U21 hurling "championship" ? I'd predicted the following for the weekend past but the mods felt the need to block it for some reason Minor Loughgiel by as much as they wanted to Junior Treacy's Intermediare I went for Bredagh but only just but they won with a bit to spare. St Endas and Coleraine seem to be the teams to beat in that one. Two right so far and with the Shamrocks getting walloped in the football they can now pick up the ash in earnest. bricktop (Down) - Posts: 2479 - 14/10/2019 11:28:04 2243355 Link 0 |
The u21 championship is a good competition. It extends the season and keeps boys hurling. Its also good for lads that have drifted away after minor. Seannie Og (Down) - Posts: 947 - 14/10/2019 12:50:57 2243378 Link 0 |
