Div 3 senior football

(Oldest Posts First) - Go To The Latest Post

Division 2 football is the goal for div3 teams as a lot of teams there are of the same standard. I hope the new league doesn't result in the same old yo-yo effect with clubs winning league and dropping down again a year later - time will tell.

League taking shape, as are quite a few of the leagues. There is a clear divide between the possible division two teams and the lower division 3 teams. Ardglass causing upsets and could go up still

Mitchels deinately gonna win da league... they have far more fire power up front. young minors in the corners for pace, a big full forward in mckeown, and prob the best dead ball striker in the county... also their back line is pretty solid and have got a good blend of energy and strength in midfield... only blip so far was a robbery in aghaderg....keep every1 fit and could do the double.... league and championship

Don't get ahead of yourself ,Mitchel's have still a lot of big games to play yet ,plus they still have to play Aghaderg which they now have two games in hand

Just about to say the same, still the return games to play! Teconnaught might have something to say about that. Aghaderg apparently had a few lads missin the last time too. All to play for

oh i know there is a long way to go but big game dis week between tecconaught and aghaderg... an aghaderg win puts tecconnaught out of the title and anything but gives the mitchels a cushion which with them very good a home will not let go off. its just whether they can add the championship 2

Gaa scout hate to say it but.. You left yourself wide open sayin Mitchels for the double! Ardglass will beat yous as well, they're better than killyleagh with soccer boys back. It's a long way to go, feel sorry for Mitchels.. They prob wont even get promoted and seem to be a decent side.

Ardglass only drew with Aughlisnafin last night & the soccer will be starting back again after the July holidays so I cant see them going on a run. Mitchels & Aghaderg would still be favourites for promotion. Form team is Killyleagh who have won 6 from their last 7 and have defeated the top 2.

As a Killyleagh player its great to see the club being acknowledged on this. our current form has to be down to the combined efforts of liam hardy and ciaran keenan. Hardy is the trainer and keenan the manager for those who were wondering. our aim for this season is to keep plugging away in the league and to win the championship. do people think its possible?

Were Mitchels short changed again on Friday night? From what i heard the ref played 5 minutes short - any truth?

heard another referee didnt play appropiate time. these refs need to be accountable for their actions or inaction as case may be. but due to the shortage the County board will not want to 'rock the boat'. refs should not be in charge of games in same league as their own club.

but staying on topic mitchels fan got ahead of himself calling the title a bit early. stil think agahderg will win the division

Big games this wknd. Tough time for all teams with players on hols, injured any prediction on who will be top before the July break. Big game end of July, Mitchels vs the derg. Should be interesting
