What's going on with Westmeath gaa website

(Oldest Posts First)

The Westmeath gaa website needs work in my opinion. Last week not a word about Clare or Antrim games this week nothing about Limerick or Kildare.Facebook or Twitter are nonexistent do we have anyone dealing with communication?

It's a mess! You can't even access a lot of the tables now. The website was poor to begin with but now it's just pathetic. This needs a complete overhaul and proper and continuous maintenance

Westmeath needs an assistant PRO to take care of the social media side of things,I'm surprised that Croke Park hasn't created a new position for county boards and clubs-social media officer or the like, there's a lot of work in updating a website,Facebook,Twitter, add in all the traditional roles of the PRO and you are into a lot of man/woman hours, not condoning the state of our social media, just saying the PRO needs help.

If anyone is interested they should put themselves forward - I'm sure the County Board would really appreciate a volunteer in this area. I doubt the competence exists in the current setup.

In answer to the question, much the same as the rest of Westmeath GAA. Only bright light is the hurlers.
