Parking wont be that easy as West End Road probably has single yellows but Police wont allow parking as road is too narrow. Go on Goggle Maps and have a quick look at area bordered by Station Approach, Edward's Ave and Mahlon Ave using the street view symbol.
Have to say pretty disappointing show by London at the weekend, wasn't expecting a win but did expect them to give Galway a much harder examination. Players seemed unwilling to shoot when within scoring range and the decision to bring the keeper out to take frees from 30/35m baffled me, think he only got 1 from 3. Would have been much better off if they had played Mulvey in the corner even if it was just for taking frees. Good crowd at the game and many stayed round after, so the county board bank balance should be looking healthy.
Well done to the London boys on the weekend. It was always going to be difficult after what they achieved last year. Most people, myself included, thought they would be bet out the gate by Limerick on Saturday but to put it up to them like they did, showed huge character. Hopefully Goggins stays on. If I was in his position, I would be looking to actively recruit young, fringe players from the likes of the Dublins and the Donegals. Lads who are a year or two away from being regulars for the top counties and would come over here with something to prove and want to make a name for themselves. Fully understand that long term that might not be a beneficial solution.
