Yeah and the county board was a bit slow to inform people the match was off. I heard a few of the joes players turned up in Greenford to find no match to be played. Who makes these calls to call a game off? could people not be given more notice. Informer (None) - Posts: 185 - 12/11/2012 12:57:07 1296425 Link 0 |
I think the game was called off about 2 hours before it was meant to start, some cuchulainns players would already have been en route as they would of been travelling from south london. I didnt realise it had rained that much, supposedly its fixed for this saturday same venue and time. Will be a very close game, hard to predict games this time of the year. draydis (UK) - Posts: 81 - 12/11/2012 14:06:57 1296479 Link 0 |
I had the bag on my back and my mouth full of Greggs on route when the tx went out, I think football at this time of the year is a gamble. Clarebearstare (Clare) - Posts: 192 - 12/11/2012 14:23:48 1296494 Link 0 |
well done to Cu's at the weekend, quite a year they have had, will get a chance to test themselves against the big boys next year. Will be the early favourites to take the Intermediate championship next year. Rosineri1 (UK) - Posts: 1999 - 19/11/2012 11:11:00 1299576 Link 0 |

Delighted for CuChullains and the good people involved with that club. They have had a great 80th year and the hard work behind the scenes is paying off. I believe they have bagged three cups this year and with a bit of luck, would have being competing for a British championship this weekend. reviewer (UK) - Posts: 12 - 20/11/2012 09:11:45 1300103 Link 0 |
