Well guys, unless I have read things incorrectly, it seems that the GAA HQ is taking advantage by prioritising county over club. I guess the coffers from the gate returns is more appealing to the GAA bosses for county games. I see county players losing interest by the completion of the intercounty championships in July and clubs will lose out more than they did in the former 'starred' game arrangement. I see county players taking holidays or going elsewhere on a working holidays in the case of students so the club teams will be disadvantaged greatly. I hope I'm wrong so let's see what happens.
