I'm going to really enjoy Sunday!

(Oldest Posts First)

People talk about pressure and the fact that Dublin are going for back to back titles.

Its something that I, as a fan, would love to see us do. That said, There is no pressure on Dublin on Sunday in my view. People expect us to win, But if we lose, so what..

We've beaten Kerry 3 times in a row in the championship, We've beaten Mayo in an all Ireland final. Got a bit of revenge on Tyrone and Donegal for bad defeats, 3 All Irelands in 5 years, 4 national league titles on the bounce. 11 of the last 12 Leinsters. They owe their families nothing. They have nothing to prove to anybody. A back to back would be the icing on the cake for themselves, But for me personally, I'm just going to enjoy the game and see how we get on safe in the knowledge that whatever happens, They've already given me some very good moments in the past few years, and hope they will give me a few more in years to come.

I'm fairly relaxed about Sunday as well.

The success of last few years makes defeat easier to take imo.

The begrudgery of the last few years also makes the wins very enjoyable ;)

I'd be more looking forward to Sunday if my irritating boss wasn't walking around with 'The Green and Red of Mayo' playing on his phone.

If we lose he's going to be unbearable! However, if we win, I can't wait to give him a bit of his own medicine.

He said he wasn't going to post here anymore because of the Thumbs up thing...

Pity, he was an excellent contributor!

Come back Cue... you're missed

Make that 4 wins over kerry in a row. Mad how the situation from last decade has reversed.
