"going back to the clubs is not going to help anyone...Bailie got injured at club training! Why was he there? the county training is of better quality

You seem to know more than the rest of us, as Bailie was not injured at our club training. He was injured in the final national league game of the year, but the extent of the injury was only discovered several weeks ago.

Just repeating what one of the players told me...perhaps they were given the wrong information.

I asked previously here what was going on within the county and from what I see on HS there are two view points. Obviously there is some unrest and I have to admit when I heard about some of it last night I was quite surprised and if true then we are in trouble.
We should have two relegation matches coming up and need to win both or else we are in Nicky Rackard and that will be a huge step down.
The defeat against Wicklow according to some opened up a whole can of whoop-ass but from the two league matches I was at it was apparent something wasnt right but I didnt realise how bad it was. I do fear for the reminder of the season now but hope we can regroup and drive on

My, BallygalgetGAC has its own log in for Hoganstand!! Are the powers that be getting a bit tetchy about the idle tittle tattle on here??

Next thing big Jim McNamara will be logging in :-)

As for CoDown1 talking about players getting injured at club training, they've every right to attend their club training and should be doing so, we're not Kilkenny and Ger Monan is not Brian Cody to insist that they only attend the county team training as we've over half a dozen lads on the county panel and for them not to train with us has a lasting impact of the quality of our training.

Bricktop how do you think the galgets and crane will fare tonight? I reckon after Ballycrans impressive start they will think this will be a walk in the park...not in my opinion though, I think it will be close, too close to call. what you reckon?

+10 to us, no bother.

You've went back at an amazing rate of noughts this year, magic aside.

How wrong was I?????

It was 20 plus points, not sure why Simon didn't give some of the bench a run out in the second half as the game was over after 10 minutes.

Have to say Bricktop I didn't see that one coming. Crans obviously a very good outfit, galgets missing a good few from last year granted but beaten to the ball too many times and too often. The cork man was very hard to work with and all in all crans were too good all over the park. Back to the drawing board for galgets but young fisher looks a good prospect for the galgets on a positive note, and hopefully we can learn from this and mover forward.

Stephen Dineen is a very good player. What's the reason he's playing his club hurling in Down anyway?

Did anyone go to the match on Saturday or heard how it went? A victory is a victory I suppose but Im sure players cant wait for this nightmare season to end

Was at the game some solid performances. Magee was very good and so was Coyle and Michael Ennis. We now play the winners of Fingal or Tyrone. Shouldn't be a problem staying up. I agree rough season.

There is the possibility of Antrim having a qualifier on the Saturday before the Ulster final on the Sunday, wonder if the Ulster council will be happy for them to play two days on the bounce?

We only have to worry about being there!

Glad to see there was plenty of aerial time given to the matches on saturday (christy ring, nicky rackard and lory maegher) on the sunday game last night just a pity it was near the end of the programme
