All matches now played and Ports top of the league. I think Ballycran can catch us if they win all there games. Seannie Og (Down) - Posts: 947 - 02/07/2013 08:08:12 1421185 Link 0 |

That's a tanking. the_guvner (Down) - Posts: 318 - 02/07/2013 15:30:21 1421754 Link 0 |
Fair enough lads that may be a tanking the Point received last night. But fair play to them for keeping it going, Meatsy, the 2 Teagues and big Higgins all in the States. All_Left_Side (Down) - Posts: 7 - 02/07/2013 21:39:34 1422236 Link 0 |
How could newry and warrenpoint play in two championships? bgael (None) - Posts: 211 - 03/07/2013 10:18:42 1422407 Link 0 |
Yeah we're missing those lads, plus more in USA or Australia, and Joker in Europe. As like a lot of teams round the country, it's a big loss but we're still fielding every game (apart from the 2 away ards games against port and cran, and that's due to people working as well as aforementioned), which is commendable. In saying that, Monday's game was at the bare bones. We'll consolidate this season, give the championship a lash, and if we don't win it then we'll be back stronger next year! beansycpn (Down) - Posts: 128 - 03/07/2013 10:53:10 1422457 Link 0 |
Oh yeah, Maxie is working in Africa, the last year or so, and for the foreseeable beansycpn (Down) - Posts: 128 - 03/07/2013 11:03:51 1422476 Link 0 |
Higgins, Maxwell, Matthew Teague haven't played for the point in a few years due to injury and work. No ones saying that they don't deserve praise for fielding every week because alot of teams wouldn't, I was just stating that its a tanking. the_guvner (Down) - Posts: 318 - 03/07/2013 11:47:00 1422529 Link 0 |
As far as I've heard, same as last year- us and shamrocks play in the junior c'ship with the rest of the non-ards teams- possibly bar bredagh beansycpn (Down) - Posts: 128 - 03/07/2013 14:20:18 1422748 Link 0 |
