Disappointing to hear that Ballygalget went down. Never good to see one of our own (Down) teams not doing well. I have no doubt that they will be back.

Yeah, A Horse will win the Grand national.

I'm not gloating at all, in fact I've pointed out on numerous occasions that the Ards clubs have been hovering around the relegation zone for far too long, so there is something we're not doing right.

We're too insular, in some much as long as we beat the other two we're great, whereas we're patently not. Time to see the bigger picture.

Disappointing to see any Down team relegated. Not something to be poking fun at at all.

It's hard enough trying to field a competitive county team with only 3 senior clubs. It will be near impossible with only 2.

No relegation from div 1. This is by no means certain, as the proposed restructuring has to be ratified by a two thirds majority at the Antrim convention.

Last game of the Antrim league yesterday, Ports were comfortable winners, never behind................. two depleted teams ports missing 7 of the starting line up galgets 3/4 they had not a lot to offer, time 4 them to re-build. Ports by 6.

i would like to think the ports would win since they had been training for an Ulster final until last week. Although saying it was comfortable would be an over statement with only a couple of points in it until last few mins. Also the galgets were missing 5 or 6 so not looking as bad. I'm away to get fattened up for the winter. See you all in the new year.

well lets be honest its plain to see why we are not at the top , the lgiels , cushendalls and dunloys operate systems of play and are fit enough to do so , the ards merely lump it into the forward line hoping for the best with simple game plans of driving it into the corner or into the big man not going to work.

We dont do enough strength and conditioning and are bullied consistently off the ball each year in the antrim league and subsequently at county level

Not a bad season for the Ports 4th in Antrim senior champ, Ulster final, Down div1, minor champ but still have a lot to do to get to compete at the top. Have to improve in coaching.

Any word on other Down clubs following the ards & Bredagh into Antrim league. I hear Carryduff are talking about it and given where they are based it should be no problem for them.

Ballela played in Antrim for a couple of years recently.
