Who really cares what team the shamrocks had out? It was a senior game and Portaferry got a result against them. Im no Ports fan but aleast swallow your pride and give them some credit.

Are Ards clubs expected to play Antrim league matches without county players this Sunday?

downandout, either team were not at full strength man. wot u av to understand Shamrocks have a senior panel or 25 if they r missing 6 they av the players to stand in. R u saying the rest of the Shamrock panel is not up to it man? I think they r and more than capable.

Doesn't matter, if the Ports can get a result against the All-Ireland champions, then they have the right to celebrate! And the doubters would do the same if it was their club!

Absolutely not , the ulster league semi final is a daunting prospect and will be hard to do , look im not detracting from the ports achievement at all , seems everyone loves to stick the knife in at every opportunity.
We played the ulster league and done reasonably well in it , so therefore as i presume are there on merit? or maybe theres something im unaware of....

Teams are entitled to take points if you throw the game so dont see how that point works

Bricktop think its funny you think we will go down. Love to see your beloved Ballycran go down. The way we played against Loughiel last night was exceptional and if we play like that the rest of the year and be more clinical with finishing i couldnt see us going down. Fair enuf i think it will be one of the Ards teams but too early to call anyone just yet. Stop talking about Ballygalget for once and look at your own team who arnt very strong atm. Peace.

Are you revelling in glorious defeat in Ballygalget now, is that how bad its become?
Wasn't at the game, but from all accounts if you'd had Gary Coffey umpiring you'd have won by three or four points.

Against my expectations we managed to take points off Dunloy, but like the other Ards clubs we'll need to win games at home against our neighbours and St Johns. The Dunloy points could be enough to keep us safe, but IMO St Johns who gave the Ports a bit of a trimming and play Ballygalget in the next few weeks will be the deciding factor in this issue.
