Have you a team list by any chance ? Jack_Sparrow (Westmeath) - Posts: 886 - 03/01/2017 22:10:58 1942912 Link 1 |
Was at it myself Val good in Midfield but Claving was very good at 14 and then they moved him out to midfield Longofrd were far far better team and should have won but a young minor from last year caem on and changed the game. Dillion gave a unreal crossfield ball for the Westmeathn Goal that changed the game for us. Impressed with Westmeath Full back line i taught they were excelent. Centre back very good, wing backs were poor midfield we already delat with 11 let there 6 destroy us, THE YOUNG LAD FROM sHAMROCKS WAS EXCELENT IN FIRST HALF BUT GOT NO BALL IN TEH SECOND. Its actually terrible that we have to rely on the Longford Leader for a detailed match report. gti (Westmeath) - Posts: 198 - 05/01/2017 13:26:57 1943227 Link 1 |
I suspect the game being played on Tuesday night meant local papers couldn't report it for Wednesdays papers. However, Westmeath's social media/Website is still amateur at best, many clubs in Westmeath have superior Twitter/websites, etc.

regardless County and club coverage on games and on goings in Westmeath is miles behind every other county. live Match up-Dates is the worst I've seen It's awful for a county with such Footballing interest in it. Dr.Phil (Cavan) - Posts: 109 - 05/01/2017 21:45:54 1943360 Link 0 |
You're relying on a one man band which in this day and age is crazy. BigSur (Westmeath) - Posts: 713 - 05/01/2017 22:38:59 1943376 Link 0 |
Sorry, clicked a bit too quick there. PRO also does MC in Cusack Park for most matches so it's a busy job. But surely it's not too much to ask for team lists from these county games which is what everyone is interested in. There is a huge appetite out there for instant communication because of the technology. I think the PRO needs a sub com a tee ! BigSur (Westmeath) - Posts: 713 - 05/01/2017 22:55:59 1943378 Link 0 |
