Think its considered different code so can play football out here. Will that mean he will be traveling back and forth to play with Galway hurlers like he did when he lived out here before? Thats asking alot of one man, fair play to him if he is up for it. Had big influence on the Kilkenny match.

Gaelic Park, Kerry GAA & the GAA in general lost a legend that was John Riordan. A very nice man that always had a good word to say. Looked after many Gaels through the years. RIP John. NarrowBack914 (USA) - Posts: 181 - 01/08/2018 12:34:00 2128197 Link 1 |

Monaghan and Longford by a country mile Who do you fancy in inter? Crossgaa (Mayo) - Posts: 548 - 22/08/2018 18:50:10 2135691 Link 0 |
Unfortunately like both Senior Semi Finals, it was plain to be seen whom had deeper pockets. This is what things have come too. No wonder only 5 Senior teams and really only two to compete at Business end of the Championship. ranger (None) - Posts: 166 - 13/09/2018 12:38:53 2141396 Link 0 |
Should be competitive finals on sunday for intermediate and Junior A. 4 teams doing things right. NYCcavanman (USA) - Posts: 204 - 19/09/2018 19:29:36 2142787 Link 0 |
Should be great games and hard ones to call but I'll make a guess. Sligo over Wmeath for inter Manhattan over Barnabas for Junior A O'donnavan V Barnabas in Junior B final ? Should be another cracker. That's the following week. Senior still a mess but not as much money spent this year Crossgaa (Mayo) - Posts: 548 - 19/09/2018 23:09:03 2142814 Link 0 |
In looking at the standings I see that the St. Barnabas Club in New York club has had an amazing 2018 football season. Competing in the Junior A championship final v Manhattan Gaels. Competing in the Junior B championship final v O'Donovan Rossa. Competed in the Senior Championship semi-final v Monaghan. Competing the the Senior League semi-final v Kerry. Competing in the Junior A League final v Kerry. Won the Junior B League competition Won the U-12 championship. Won the U-21 championship. Congratulations to Sligo and Manhattan Gaels. Both team were deserving of there wins. Crossgaa (Mayo) - Posts: 548 - 24/09/2018 02:06:37 2143443 Link 0 |
Well Cross, don't know where you got your information from, but both Monaghan and St. Barnabas already have Junior A teams. Barnabas just lost the final vs Manhattan and are in the Junior B final later today. If their Senior team was to drop, it could only be to Intermediate. Sligo will be a good boost to the Senior ranks, but hopefully this doesn't turn into a spend all for Senior championships then gone the next year. Will be interesting to see what happens with Longford now that Jamie Clarke has left the team.
