If it's true that the intermediate hurling semi-finals take place on the 25th I find that pretty unbelievable. A lot of teams are missing players for one reason or another most weeks but to fix the semi-finals for the same day as a potential world cup semi-final day in Twickenham is truly remarkable and short sighted by the fixture committee. I know Ireland may not get there, and that not the point. The fact that we have a chance of getting there and for lads that have been training since very early spring to have to choose between a world cup semi-final and a club semi-final and for many people it may be the only opportunity to be in the same city as one, or who may want to soak up the atmosphere in the fan zone in Richmond or around Twickenham or may have friends coming over for the weekend for it. 1sided (UK) - Posts: 1 - 15/10/2015 15:25:39 1799016 Link 0 |
Very true 1sided. Championship needs to start earlier in the year and have the finals played off in Sept. No need for so many cups taking up weekends early in the year. I think London intermediate teams play in 5 competitions. That makes no sense when there's only 6 teams competing! ArAisAris (UK) - Posts: 39 - 15/10/2015 18:24:50 1799094 Link 0 |
It beats me why they don't scrap the McCullough cup. That could very well run into December by the looks of it. Absolutely pointless competition. jamesor2 (Roscommon) - Posts: 9 - 15/10/2015 21:54:53 1799203 Link 0 |
with Fr. Murphy's drawing last weekend, when is the intermediate championship likely to be finished now? And what happens if Fr. Murphy's win on Sunday? Deadwood (Limerick) - Posts: 55 - 20/10/2015 14:13:08 1800599 Link 0 |
Winners of the game between Fr.Murphys and Fullen Gaels will go onto represent Britain in the quater final of the Junior All Ireland Club Series. DNFWTGaa (UK) - Posts: 48 - 21/10/2015 10:41:30 1800826 Link 0 |
Any reports on yesterday's game against Fulham Irish please..... edshamrocks (Wexford) - Posts: 337 - 02/11/2015 20:15:43 1803852 Link 0 |
Fulham Irish bet Fr.Murphys 13pts to 9pts. Poor showing by Murphy's missed some crucial chances to win, Be disappointed won't be hurling senior next year. tdawg90 (Galway) - Posts: 60 - 03/11/2015 09:41:48 1803913 Link 0 |
