Only 5 teams in Scotland. Edinburgh have been the team for the last few years, but Tir Conail Harps won the championship this year with a very good squad. Hopefully it can be built upon next season. Glasgow Gaels are an ok side, but fell well short this year. They will come back strong I'd say. The other two don't put up too much of a challenge. Alot of call off's as well as teams couldn't field enough players. Only Tir Conaill Harps and Dunedin Connolly's managed to go the full season without calling a game off. As for intercounty, haven't a clue really. Those cocky Edinburgh ones decided to represent Scotland without consulting anybody else which in all honesty I thought was bad form. I'm sure I heard there bus broke down and ended up not playing.
I think the key is to try and get alot more local Scottish boys to pick up the game and train them up from a young level and make sure they don't fall away as well. If we can do that then maybe we can get more teams, which will make for a better competition.

There's a few Carlow men involved with Tir Conaill as well so you'd be in good company.
