Likewise, we've had some very promising teams at minor and U20/U21 who didn't manage to get out of Connacht. It'll be starting from zero again for the next year's team. WanPintWin (Galway) - Posts: 938 - 20/12/2020 17:39:02 2324684 Link 0 |

And players that have given years of service deserve more than his kind of rubbish, its all too easy to throw players under the bus like he did after the league game against Mayo. A mediocre league campaign that showed we're still a long way off calling ourselves a top 4 team.

I think the lads overage next year from the starting fifteen are Flaherty, Glynn, Tierney, Kelly and Cian Monaghan. I'm not sure if Greene is underage or not. I'm open to correction on that. galwayman2 (Galway) - Posts: 822 - 21/12/2020 10:52:50 2325007 Link 0 |

Flaherty and Kelly are still U-20 eligible next year. Greene is as well. The others you mentioned are overage alright including Fitzgerald. Marooned (Galway) - Posts: 1812 - 21/12/2020 13:11:00 2325066 Link 0 |

Yes you're right on Flaherty. Also I meant Patrick Kelly not Paul as being overage. galwayman2 (Galway) - Posts: 822 - 21/12/2020 21:18:47 2325256 Link 0 |
Wouldnt blame Cein D'Arcy if he did. I would think many who have walked could have been dropped anyway

Ah rubbish. Joyce has a job to do and he deserves the scope to do it. I actually think he and the lads will bring us to an all ireland final and anything can happen then. We're not far off the mark and we'll be more ready in 2021.
