With the gaa proposing that county comes first next year will the Antrim league be played over summer into winter along with championships ? Be crazy if no club players don't get any games until July time a lot of boys will lose interest if the can't play until then with being used to be training from January and playing from March time in my opinion leave it as is

Can see div1 and2 going ahead , will 3 Ards clubs get Antrim league, and will these games go ahead without their county players as there is gonna be a clash as both club and county running at same time this year
Who knows

No Antrim League for Down clubs now considering club hurling will only start on the 19th of July at the earliest.

Ulster Club championship penciled in for the 29th of November.

Hard to see a league and also round robin club championships in that timeframe.

Hope Ballygalget read the rules of the competition in advance of it rather than at the end of it....

That wouldn't be great for the Ards clubs senior squads if they don't have any league competition, the county team benefited from a strong championship last year , will the clubs benefit from the county in their respective competitions ??

I think last year's solution work well with the split,if county and clubs are to run side by side there will be more pressure on the county players !!
Usually national league would be near completion by now so running inter county league and championship alongside club fixtures may be tough going for some clubs, would the clubs agree to playing games without their county contingent.
Tricky times ahead

I know where your coming from but surely non county players need more games hopefully something will be sorted for them also heard a few months back from a galget that Antrim league could be played with no relegation could that be a possibility for non county players clubs could just use that for match fitness for young players as well sure we'll see what happens soon

Tough, they float around the bottom of the table as it is so I don't expect many shocks , with no relegation I'd imagine teams to use the games to blood new talent.

Yeah I'd say you're right hopefully everyone who's been training gets some game time as the u19s that's been training will get plenty of games with 3rds and 2nds
