Replying To Antrimroad:  "Nothing at all to be jealous off or embarrassed off, if anything portaferry should be embarrassed. As for calling ballycran a small club, we hold the most senior titles in down, says it all. Kilclief has more senior titles than both ballygalget and portaferry so if ballycran are a "small club", what are yous?? Also for a small club we are able to line out 3 senior teams along with subs week in week out. Not bad for a small club."
Grow up lad.

Fair play to them for doing it and all the best for next year. It's not an easy job to do a lot of commitment pity that all available players don't go years ago players would of jumped to play county but things change

Paudie I'm sure is doing his best, but yes I do agree we need something more. Someone like Simon Wilson would do wonders for the county. Hes proven good everywhere he went. Yes it's all well and good getting to a Christy ring final, but now expectations are high I'm sure paudie will be looking to play for Joe next year, if not then may aswell quit now. The decision is made I assume so all we can really do is support the lads and wish the management all the very best. So good luck

Best of luck to Paudie and his management team.. Proven track record at underage and great to see these young lads he trained coming through, was no point in chopping the tree with the same blunt axe.

Looking forward to the Kehoe cup might take a trip to the Offally match. Will the U21 team be playing in the McGurk pre-season

Current management deserve to be retained as progress was made last year and hopefully league promotion is gained this time - For the long term good of Down Hurlin would yus take Ring Cup or promotion in league??

Think league would be the bigger prize but to say we have improved is dishonest .we threw a u21 game last year in order to play a b championship on a big stage which didn't happen .Why or who was responsible for this

One or the other would be very good for hurling in down. But the boys and paudie should see their doubters on this (including me) and go and prove them wrong. They should give it their all and bring both the league and the ring home, they are good enough they just have to commit now over the winter and focus on both hurling and gym work and they will see results. I wish you lads all the best.

Why is the management getting hammered here? The Messiah couldn't get Down to preform any better given the level of talent in the county, and that includes the prima donnas who won't turn up. Some players in county genuinely think themselves talented, if only they could see what the rest of us are looking at.
