Calm down calm down I wouldn't be demanding wholesale change just yet .... Let's wait to see how next few games go .. The amount of basics errors and bad decision making against Kildare was crazy ... U gonna blame mcgrath for that .. Calm heads ladies calm heads

Cant see any change made to the team to adress the 6 goals coincided in th last 3games?...

Is james mcmahon now 3rd choice centre half back? Barrys good and versatile but if mcmahon and mcclusky are named on the bench thats an awfull peculiar call...

Good win today, badly need after last few defeats and was a must to keep survival hopes alive.
Fermanagh were hungry today and pressured every ball which led to numerous turnovers. Great performances from Che Cullen,Barry Mulrone, Aidan Breen,Ryan Jones,Eddie Courtney, Kane Coonor did well in full back line, while Sean Quigley was superb from dead balls even when clearly injured in the second half. Really hope the injury to Tomas Corrigan isnt too serious, unlikely he be available next week id reckon v Meath.

Fermanagh probably should have won the game by more, with number of goal chances but even when Clare got the goal went up and scored which was good to see.

Was clear that conscious of the goals conceded lately with Eoin Donnelly dropping deep alot, although on three occasions clear did open Fermanagh up when ran at us which a concern. Another massive game away to an improving Meath team next weekend

National Football League Division Two - Round 5
FERMANAGH 0-18 CLARE 1-10

A great performance today from free taker Sean Quigley. Fermanagh defence worked extremely as did the mid field performance thanks to Donnelly and Jones. Barry Mulrone and Aidan Breen were literally everywhere and answered Fermanagh's call! Was impressed with Ryan Jones today as well as young Courtney who has now surely earned his place on the team? Paul McCusker was good in support but I thought his brother Declan could have done more but he seems to mostly lose the ball or falls easily. Young Paul Murphy did well for his first crucial game. The spectators left Brewster Park with a more optimistic view of Fermanagh although we all know it's going to be tight at the bottom so relegation still looks probable.

Scorers for Fermanagh: Sean Quigley 0-8 (5fs, 2 '45's), Aidan Breen 0-3, Eddie Courtney, Barry Mulrone 0-2 each, Paul McCusker 0-1, Ryan Jones 0-1, Tomas Corrigan 0-1.

Fermanagh Stating team: Thomas Treacy; Mickey Jones, Che Cullen, Kane Connor; Conor Murphy; Barry Mulrone, Aidan Breen; Eoin Donnelly, Lee Cullen; Paul McCusker, Ryan Jones, Ryan Lyons: Eddie Courtney, Sean Quigley, Tomas Corrigan.

Well I guess that's why McGrath is a respected manager and I'm an arm chair commentator!!!
Kane Connor looked at home and delivered some superb balls . Mulrone was his influential self and what a presence roaming forward ... defence was hungry and dogged .... total change from Kildare match.. tinker away McGrath I salute you sir

Both. If it's 2 teams on the same number of points it's head to head, if it's more than 2 it's points difference.

It was quite a comfortable win in the finish. The point kicking from Fermanagh seems to have improved considerably with some great scores yesterday. The mid-field was outstanding against a very good Clare pairing. Quigley's kicking was a joy to watch although his failure to score either of his goal chances probably shows that he is not fully match-fit yet. Courtney and the lad who got injured look to be useful additions. I was very impressed with the full-back who gives great authority to the back line. Good luck in the final two games.

Hope to see a big Fermanagh crowd at this match on Sunday. Was at the Kildare match and there was a great Fermanagh crowd there given the distance. We can secure Div 2 status with a win on Sunday. If we have a repeat of the spirit and grit from last Sunday, then we have every chance
Hope to see plenty of you there ! Maun Fermanagh hi

Do we not need other results to go our way Sunday to secure it?

A win will leave Fermanagh with a great chance of staying up, especially if Galway beat Down and as a lot of the other teams in the relegation battle are facing each other, this weekend Derry v Cork, next weekend Clare v Meath, Cork v Down, so teams will be dropping points around us. If 3 teams finish on 6 points are scoring difference could be our downfall though

Lets hope that Tomas Corrigan is fully fit and able to start as named in team. Galway and Kildare wins will do us no harm this weekend for sure. Derry have 4 key players back so will be well up for their must win game v Cork to keep them in mix.

Huge game tomorrow for Fermanagh, best of luck lads, hopefully a good support to cheer you on again an expectant Meath team

HT Meath 2-06 Fermanagh 0-04. Not very promising looking. Sean Quigley (2pt), Ryan Lyons (1pt), Kane Connor (1pt). Mickey Jones off (questionable black card). Goalkeeping questionable too! macca is just to the left of me and is giving off stink about McGrath's selection and game plan.
