Fermanagh 2015

And finally Donegal has proved my point over and over again with Ulster and All Ireland success but unfortunately I cannot say the same for Fermanagh.

You should have explained it that way first time round abc but unfortunately we are not a county who regularly scalps any team, bar the london's, kilkennys etc the basement regulars of division 4. Most of our wins are 'circumstantial' I'm afraid if that's how you want to assess it.

And ABC Fermanagh beat Donegal the last time they played them in the McKenna cup. I believe Donegal were all ireland champions at the time. Honestly man what planet are you on?

Does any of you know how many Registered club members are in each County of Ulster, or where to find this Info?

Also want a breakdown of Season ticket holders per County in Ulster.

And teams with highest attendance figures in Ulster.

Good luck in the rest of the competition lads.

I remind u of your excellent record v donegal in the ulster champoinship and the back door. 2000, 2001, 2003 and 2004 you beat us, putting us out in 2 of those 4 years of the competition.

Heard Derry played to lose to outsmart Donegal! Fermanagh will find it tough against Cavan. I see Tyrone taking the prize!

Why is the game tomorrow night in Cavan - normally the McKenna Cup semis are played at a neutral venue.

eamonkeown (Fermanagh) - Posts: 23 - 20/01/2015 10:04:36    1684694

if there hadnt of been a delay in the cup due to weather id say the two semi finals would have been played last sunday at armagh..for a midweek fixtures they normally wouldnt do double headers so it went down to a toss and cavan won!
Whats the story with gearoid mckiernan, is he suspended for tomorrow night?

abitawit (Fermanagh) - Posts: 274 - 20/01/2015 11:23:54    1684718

abitawit/macca999 you believe that Cavan hasn't got advantage playing at home? The semis and finals should be played at neutral venues and the GAA is obliged morally if not legally to do so in the interest of fairness. Fermanagh last won the McKenna Cup in 1997 and it would be great to see them progress to the final and I hope Armagh beat Tyrone to make it easier if Fermanagh get through. Back to the the last two games and can I ask this poster why he hasn't acknowledged Quigley's contribution which made Fermanagh's semi final position possible?

McKernan will miss the match for sure and from what I hear he may be in even more trouble after the ref report from the Monaghan game comes out.

I had a good look in the mirror and I realise the image others see, so I intend to change in 2015.
I will come of the fence and make firm predictions the first being that Fermanagh will get well beaten by Cavan tomorrow night.
I believe that without the three Quigleys, Fermanagh will go no where.

Sean and Connor are playing to nite. What you on about

I think he means that Seamie should be there if Fermanagh is to take the future seriously. Let's hope the absence of Cavan's McKiernan will help and the Fermanagh manager using Tracy in goals. I think in spite of macca's mirror image comment, Fermanagh will make it to the final.

Quigley is good.... but if even got half fit he'd be great and if fully fit ... unstoppable. at the moment he's too easy marked
