New Dublin Jersey?

(Oldest Posts First) - Go To The Latest Post

I see both Cork and Armagh have new jerseys out

Anything on the rumour front regarding Dublin?

In time for Christmas and cash in on a perfect 2015?

Hope they get rid of the new blue.... Bring back the sky blue!'

TBH

I'm getting worried

Looking at the latest O'Neill made jerseys this year

Armagh, Cork and the Irish team jersey...

Not one of them have collars!!!

I hate jerseys that don't have collars...!

Although at least AOS will have nothing to pull out of to feign head butts... ;)

Joking aside... Seriously I'm not liking this I collar business and I def won't be buying one if O'Neills are at this craic again

I know it's an Irish brand but IMO some of their gear isn't worth the money...

I hope not, I only bought the young lad one earlier this year. You'd imagine they'd be on sale already if they were with there being on 4 weeks till Christmas!

Current Dubs jersey is the best in the country in my opinion.
2013 was rubbish.
2011 would have been good without the red sponsor.
O'neills have a tendency to over do it sometimes.

Sky blue with navy sleeves with a collar is the way to go.
Hopefully available for christmas 2017!

AFAIK there won't be a new jersey this year. IIRC part of the agreement with AIG was that the jersey would remain the same for duration of the contract with them. I'm sure a quick call to the county board would get you an answer one way or the other

Cheers for the info but I had to Google AFAIK and IIRC.. haha.. learn something new everyday

Well that's fair enough... just not liking the new Dublin blue... it's not a bad design - like the retro stripes down the arm and such but it's just the colour.

Sorry Jimbo - was running for the train so acronyms easiest.
I like the new blue if it was a t-shirt or something but it's not sky blue...

It wasn't sky blue originally, it was a darker colour. I read in Seán Ó Ceallacháins book that they faded in the wash and then stuck with the colour.

I am old school I prefer the retro jerseys! Terrified of wearing a brand new one for fear I would be branded a sunshine supporter! :)

Every single new inter county jersey launched this year from O'Neills has no collars ...

Not looking good!

new jersey coming out for the championship I think guys.

Went on the Oneills website and they aren't selling any adult sized jerseys. Just the current jersey in baby size with (old) written in the description.

Yeah was in O Neills I bought the 1916 t shirt and asked about the Dublin jersey , a new one is coming out next month according to the staff. The 1916 T Shirt is 44 euros good to have imo.
