Few shock results with teams resting players over wkd.
QF: Rosemount V Shandonagh (winner plays Athlone)
Moate V Tubberclare (winner plays Tang)

Ballinagore unlucky to be in a relegation playoff with CFCW

Everyone disregarding Shandonagh in this competition but they are unbeaten in last four championship outings and a largely young side are making very solid progress, certainly dark horses, Rosemount although missing a number of regulars were very poor against Ballynacargy with their sub keeper easily being their best player, Shandonagh will fancy their chances of upsetting the Roses. Fascinating encounter, Tubberclair should account for Moate in other quarter final.

Rosemount will have key players returning from America so they should account for an improving Shandonagh.
Tubberclair will easily dispose of Moate who were very poor at the weekend. Ballinagore should have beaten them.
Ballinagore would have hoped that 3 points would keep them safe but a surprise St. Marys win over Tang puts them down.
Athlone still the team to beat but Tang will run them close.

Reckon Rosemount and Tubberclare to win at the weekend in the QF. Rosemount game will be tight but T'clare should win by 4/5
Relegation game should be closer, hard to know who CFCW will pull out to play this one. If its the same players as in the group stages then I fancy Ballinagore to win

Tubberclair looked home and dry at half time yesterday evening but Tang were a different team in the second half

Fair play to Athlone for playing the game after the drama before it,a teammate of mine collapsed during a game and the ref abandoned it,we were in no humour to play on,Athlone would've been entitled to get the game postponed,I wonder did they try?

Athlone you would think should do well in Leinster as the have a high number of county players. However, their two wins against rosemount and tubberclair were lucky to say the least; and one has to ask how good are they really.

Athlone had a comfortable win today over what was a poor carlow outfit. Athlone were wasteful up front and could struggle with an away trip to wexford

Pretty accurate MidlandMagician

Its hard to know what any of the other teams are like. If they beat the Wexford lads they have home advantage in the final so that would be helpful but like you've pointed out - they have to improve up front
