Dunloy are a very good side but they won't get it as easy against S'neil.
Ballycran were let down by all of their forwards today, except for Woods who at least tried hard

Hard result to take yesterday, but we will learn, defeats like that can only harden boys and make them want to get back at them. That dunloy team is something else and slaughtneil will have to play a hell of a bit better than they did yesterday as I thought they where very poor. Dunloy will win the Ulster and I can seriously see them compete in all Ireland.

I think the pick of 3 clubs in down wouldn't get near dunloy just far too good.

There was nothing really between the teams in the first half except clinical finishing. Dunloy took their chances, we didn't, simple as. Going down to 14 men 1 minute into the 2nd half meant the game was over as a contest. Slaughtneil will beat Dunloy, they're too physical for them.

It seems every club has that one player that lacks discipline when it's needed most.

Time management sorted this out or we'll end up like Portaferry and it shouldn't matter what the surname is.

In saying that Dunloy had too much on us, they're a very good team who we probably allowed too much space all over the field and they'll punish you for that.
Easy saying that from the bench but doing anything about it is another thing.

Sadly I think age is catching up with us in terms of competing in Ulster but we'll have enough to win a Down or two before some lads exit the stage.

Sunday was always going to be a big ask for Ballycran and so it proved in the 2nd half......really needed one if not both of the goal chances in he first half but young Elliott made two good saves to be fair, which could have had the score down to couple of points at half time.....at that stage Ballycran had rattled off four points in a row and a goal would have tested Dunloy's mettle (if not changed the game)

Once the red card happened it was over as a contest as no team in Ulster (and few in Ireland ) use the ball as well as Dunloy......that Dunloy side has the potential to do what the last great Dunloy team didn't and that's win an all Ireland club , may take a couple years but they will be very close.

You could see the likes of O Neill, Molloy, Elliott etc all have put serious work into their S&C, hard to know was that via Antrim or Dunloy but whoever is pushing it then it has made a difference to them and Slaugtneil will face a different animal to the one they 'bullied' off the park couple of years ago

Two Savages put in a serious shift for Ballycran as did Woodsy particularly in first half....

All S&C work is done in-house in Dunloy,

That's a young team too barring the likes of Paul Shields and could indeed go the extra step that the Dunloy team of the 90's and early 00's couldn't do.

100% hopefully our young lads can take positives from the game, S+C is a must to compete in the modern game, a few boys in ballycran maybe past it but still quality hurlers, up to the management next year to really push on and encourage young lads to the gym and even have a few team sessions as that's what it takes now to play hurling, paudie will have the county lads in the gym no doubt so hopefully ballycran and even the other two senior teams really knuckle down and get boys fit. Cant rely on woodsy forever.

Hurling isn't all about physicality. Would you say Ballycran are a more physical team that slaughtneil team they beat last year? Definitely not.

Beat Ballycran & now they can win all Ireland. In that case most of the Antrim league could win the all Ireland. Wise up!
