Hopefully the foot holds up until July! Well I suppose you will be hoping it holds up til Sept/Oct!

Interesting panel named for the club TOTY for Mondays game. Would make you wonder who will be the forwards and substitute forwards on the Wexford selection.

Some of the lads named probably won't be togged, football team had a panel of 24 named but only 18 players in the photo on social media.

100% that team is going to be better than whatever the county team is

God that looks alot weaker of a team than the TOTY. Rory O Connor named on both teams benches!

That was a wet one! Fair play to everyone that turned up! The teams were a little mismatched but it was an entertaining enough game despite the conditions!

Left Dublin at noon and it was dry and when I got to Gorey it was lashing. Regretted not checking the forecast so badly. There was a good crowd but it was impossible to hurl in the rain really. I thought Conor Foley was good and Rowley from Oilgate was good when he came on. For the Team of the year, Chin was super.

Almost certain Whelan didn't do the ACL, heard he's due back to training in a couple of weeks

Anyone hear of any challenge games lined up prior to the 1st Walsh Cup game in 2 weeks?

How was Chin moving lads? I really hope he's injury free this year!

Thought Chin was moving well and played the full match, was great to see him out with so many of the other experienced players missing. Conditions were awful, ref just blew it up and walked off before time was up at the end!

Yep that's great news for the u20s and maybe the Seniors also. His brother Dylan is doing OK so far also.

Didn't realise they were brothers, Dylan is playing the lower grade in third level colleges with Mary I Thurles.

Chin looked fit but the game was played at a really slow pace on account of the conditions. I thought a few of the bigger lads showed up well, Mark Byrne, Michael Dundon and Mike Kelly. Hopefully they work at their speed work and are able to get around when the pitches get better. Seamie O Hagan did OK too. Was Rowley no. 25 for Wexford? If so he looked good when came on. Seamus Casey looked busy and took his goal well, and Cathal Doyle had 3 from play also in the tricky conditions. Richie Lawlor got on a good bit of ball also and was everywhere around the middle 3rd.
It was good to see the re emergence of a shorter game also as an option, although the conditions did make it harder to execute. Great that they are practicing it again though. The keepers need to get alot faster on the puckouts though to really make it work well.
If I'd been picking MOTM I'd of given it to Jack Cullen. Such a shame he won't give intercounty a proper lash.

Did Wexford play Kerry in a challenge.

Anyone here how that game went?

Not sure. Kerry lost to Waterford in the MHL tonight.
