Replying To NewyorkNewyork:  "But if you are picking from a far far greater number of people the odds are you will find find more skilful players and greater numbers of superior athletes. Mathematical certainty. So all the people who say it's just up to the rest of us to match themselves are fooling themselves. Its stacked in Dublins favour and it actually demeans and lessons the value of their success. 5, 6, of even 10 All Ireland's in a row when all are played at home, and semi finals and Leinster finals etc... well when I way it all up it doesn't sound like a level playing field and so then questions the actual size of their achievements to be honest."
Dublin for decades have had numbers, trick was always picking best players. Before this decade we wouldnt be having this discussion.

Replying To tonguey:  "But why is their conditioning superior?? What are they doing that other counties aren't? There should not be such a chasm. I know county teams are in the gym now so they're obviously putting in as much effort if not more. So why are the results so different? What is the missing ingredient??"
Good footballers!

Full time professional S&C coach recruited from Leinster Rugby might have something to do with that. Nobody else has the luxury of a full time professional S&C coach. Go figure.

The only way to get out of this mess is by using a score handicap, think about it.

Was he there in 2011? And this one coach is responsible for 6 in a row? Wow.

Probably recruited by their CEO.

In all honesty, I think the Gaa have dug a big hole for themselves here and I'm not sure how they're going to get themselves out of it.

What happened to the Leinster championship appears to be happening to the All-Ireland, the Gaa decided that Leinster wasn't worth saving but I'd imagine they'll be more concerned about the overall picture.

Kerry do. A quick Google told me that. I couldn't be arsed checking if anybody else does. The OP seems to know it all. Seems.

Pretty sad how some feel the need to troll online after their team 'win' 6 in a row

The same team has won the last 6 all Ireland's, only 5 counties have competed in the last 10 finals...the same county has won 14 of the last 15 Leinster championships,....I'd say the game is pretty much dead and buried.

The reason football is "finished" is because in the final @14.52 Mayo "won" a "free" (Dublin player clearly mauled) and from the "free" they scored a point. As long as that nonsense is allowed, big, powerful, strong teams will win. Throw in the idiotic "mark" where if you catch a ball you get a pointable free. Its a nonsensical, idiotic conveyor belt of rule changes, black cards, third man tackles, marks etc etc again you just need supreme fitness, strenght, height and finishing and you become unstoppable. The problem is not Dublin it is tge game.

Yep. Dublin have always had loads of advantages over other counties. They just messed up and didnt actually do anything with it.
Theyve got their stuff in order recently. GAA need to assist some of the other counties to help them more now though and i dont mean kerry!

two more "flapped" in goals...disgraceful way to score a goal in "football"...said it before and will say it again, these "flapped" or "punted" goals should not be allowed in a game of football...

Ya jackeen Jason McGahan is in his second year as strength and conditioning coach here in kerry so in 2-3 years we might be able to give ye some competition.
