Who are these young Ports showing it at senior level? I must have missed them.

The Ports will be as heavily reliant on Dule, BA, Cougie and to a lesser extent Murph as any other year from what I've seen so far this year, am I wrong?

Looks to me like Bredagh & Cushendun are both promoted. Nobody else can catch them.

What sort of standard would Antrim Div 2 be compared to Down?

it isnt over till the fat lady sings frank (not saying it wont happen) but judging by there form throughout the year it is almost certain frank, but they still need to get that point(s) to make them officially promoted frank

If it's two up they are both up, however with the Derry teams apparently joining the Antrim Leagues again they will restructure the leagues again so the only way to be guarenteed of playing Div2 is to win the league.

Every team in Div 2 would easily win Down Div 1. Bredagh, Cushendunn and Creggan would also easily win Down Div 1 too in my opinion.

Div2 in Antrim would be a good bit higher standard than Div1 in Down, it'll bring Bredagh on leaps and bounds.

Why would the Derry teams be allowed to enter the Antrim leagues at anything other than Div4? Bredagh had to start there, why not them?

Also,
It'll be fun when they try to move games because of football in their own county, Antrim county board don't like games to be moved on a whim unless its a wedding in Loughguile.

Are the Galgets back in the relegation mire? I heard of discontent in the camp with one player refusing to line out as a sub and another refusing to do additional training after arriving late??? With big magic away the wheels are coming off the wagon.

I agree totally with Bricktop but it won't happen. Na Magha and Niomh Colm Cille entered straight into Div 3 this year.

Thats a bad result for Portaferry and Ballygalget I agree but Glenariff not that bad - Ballygalget away to Glenariff next is a must win for Portaferry and Ballygalget

We're safe although the drop in performances I can only hope is temporary due to heavy training scedules, but Glenariff pick up another point against the Galgets, who should be safe, but need to get another few points to be sure. Glenariff have only one more game left, not sure who that's against whereas Portaferry have three games to overtake them. I think one of those games must be against Ballygalget, not sure who the other two are against or where!!

Silvertongue, you can't see beyond the end of your own nose. The 3 Ards teams have added significantly to the quality of the Antrim leagues over many decades now. With attitudes like yours the standard of hurling in Ulster will never be good enough to see an Ulster county win the LMcC cup. Despite being an Antrim man exiled in Down, I'd much prefer to see any Ulster county win the senior AI hurling title than none at all. If Antrim can provide the platform for all Ulster counties to improve, then great. Wise up and see the wider picture; thankfully lots in Antrim do!
