Pal I'm simply pointing out that you are the most negative person I've ever come across. It looks fair to say that you're never happy with anything. Sure you've even admitted that you can't enjoy our Ulster win as you feel it's a fluke. I feel sorry for you is all, try and be a more positive person. It's better than seeing the worst in everything all the time. And stop obsessing over the League, we're not that bad

I never said I didn't enjoy our Ulster Championship win… I certainly did as they only come around once in a blue moon but what has happened in the 2 years since would suggest to anyone with any knowledge of football that it must have been a fluke aided by the unusual circumstances brought about by Covid… Tipperary winning the same year is a point in fact.. Both teams ended up in Division 4 which only emphasises the fact…. It's not a negative fact or comment it's just a fact…. If it upsets you that much God help you… don't be taking this inter county rubbish so seriously….especially Division 4 stuff…

Well until we get back to been able to be competitive in a league no lower than Division 2 we can forget about an Ulster title….We are going to waste 3/3 years mucking around in the lower leagues but Mickey thinks it makes no difference… More fool him

Cavan maybe in Division 4, but you are only as good as your last win. The last win against Sligo was always going to be tricky, and the team will grow in stature from that victory. The aim was promotion, and things are headed towards that ultimatum. Just wanted to say that several comments were said that nobody wins a Provincial Championship from Division 4. That's not a fact,it an opinion. It's an opinion that's stands up to no scrutiny when you look at the campaign but you are negative about more than that, you play down Gearoid McKernan who is in top 11 in scorers for last 20 years. Not bad for a fella who was playing midfield and didnt feature in later end of many championships. I often heard stats about things concerning the top 10 but never the top 11… what a joke comment.. Saying top 11 is just silly …and 20 years ago Mc Kieran was only about 12 so how he can be included that far back even makes your comments more bizarre…. Pointing out facts isn't negative. The facts don't suit your agenda, so you resort to calling everything you don't like "negative". It's tiresome, and sad in equal measure. Here's another fact. We are not the Ulster champions anymore. It has been won again in the meantime. You say we shouldn't expect to wait so long again, so what is an acceptable timeframe? 15 years? 20 years? Sorry fat fingers and hit 2 instead of 1. The fact is mcKiernan is up there with the top scorers in Ireland or are these statistics wrong? No doubt if he was in the bottom 10 you would be all over it. Are you really a Cavan man at all, you are more like a Monaghan fan in disguise.

You must have the fat fingers..,., Mc Kiernan is a good player especially when up against weak opposition… I would say the vast majority of his Championship scores have come in back door games… He didn't do a whole lot v Tyrone in last year's championship apart from getting sent off and that was even after the game… I will put him down for 5/6 points this weekend v Tipperary… How is that for positivity…?

It's clear football makes you sad. Its only a game lad and Gearoid is our best forward in the last 10 years without doubt. Always there every year, never took a year out and never walled away. Hardly means much been our best forward these days…..when the only player you have to beat to be top of the charts is the goalkeeper… an embarrassing statistic for any team let alone a county team… Our development of a couple of decent forwards in the last 10 years has been pathetic… Is it any wonder we find ourselves in the depths of Division 4… But say nothing everything is fine at County level… talk about setting the bar low…. Mickey sure has done that…

And the obvious negative is we are in Division 4….. but you are too silly to see that… Been top of this Division is hardly a big ask … we got hammered ( didn't contest) one Ulster final and fluked our way to another ( deservingly winning it ) and slide from Division 1 to 4 in 3 seasons but all is rosey in Cavan football…. Wakey wakey and smell the dung you are spouting…..

An absolutely pathetic performance today. I've said it here several times, surely we have better players available? We are afraid to kick ball into the full forward line because the players know we haven't the ball winners or bravery inside. I'm very nervous about what could happen in London next weekend!
