Really curious to know why you always pick against clonguish ?
You predicted slashers would beat them, clonguish win well and then you go predict mostrim to beat clonguish :)

Really bizarre"
Dont want to have your team get over hyped!! Mostrim one off the worst teams in the championship and clonguish going really well its a funny prediction if you didnt know what he was up to!!

Bizarre????
Slahers and Mostrim both recently county semi-finalist and finalists.
Clonguish recently have been relegation play off team.
I picked Slashers as I thought a fully fit Slashers team would beat Clonguish.
I was not the only one who thought this.
I have predicted Mostrim as I think the young lads on Clonguish might get carried away with the Slashers result and take their eye off the ball.
They have also lost another valuable player through injury to add to their list of players missing.
Have you not also noticed that I have twice predicted Colmcille to lose???
I just have a feeling their will be 2 upsets this weekend.

I'm not on here as much as you clearly but it seems I'm not the only one who sees it which says everything.

Anyway clonguish are going well and should win this weekend but not at the level of killoe or mullinalghta yet.
But some senior championships are coming for the club. And yes i am living in the parish of newtownforbes so i see whats happening out here.

Enjoy the rest of your day

I'm not ashamed to say where I am from, second after Slashers in Senior Championships won.
I haven't always been negative to these clubs the whole time, I will pass on any positive feelings towards them when deserved.

Dromard lucky against Granard and Colmcille and Mullinalaghta just about escape with the points. Could be a lot closer championship than people expected.

Disappointing performance from us this evening, but you'll have that with a very young team. Hopefully we'll get one or two players back for next week. Sweeney was a huge loss to the team today. One thing I have to say is, I thought the ref who done our game was a lot better than what he was. He gave Mostrim a penalty and a free in front of the posts for 2 foot blocks that only he seen. The first one came off Andrew Flynns calf and he was about 4 to 5 meters away from the shot! The second one it hit off the backside of the Clonguish player and he gave a free in!!! And that was on top of another few frees that he seemed to give to Mostrim but not the other way round when the same thing happened. Our group is wide open now with this result and the draw on Friday night. I would say only Ballymahon could be counted out at this stage.

Flynn was actually further away. He was just on the edge of the small square and the ball was struck from just outside the 13m line, which meant he was roughly 8/9 metres away.

Some people just get a little carried away on here. Clonguish not what they are cracked up to be as I keep saying. Caolan Lynch was excellent for Abbeylara on Saturday night. A star for the future I think

No one has cracked Clonguish up to be anything. Any "hype" is coming from people outside the club to try and bring us down. That result was very disappointing as we should have been winning that after a good performance against Slashers and Mostrim's form being poor. Mostrim were brought back into the game after a series of head scratching decisions but that's Longford football....
On another note Killashee last year and Ballymahon this year hopefully clubs and the county board wake up and see our format is not working

Agree on the point regarding the formatting of the club championship. A huge honour for intermediate clubs for winning the championship is quickly resulting in demoralising summers the following year in the senior championship and its not fair on players.
Longford must reduce the amount of senior clubs to 8/10 making intermediate stronger and more competitive or else implement similar format to westmeaths championship structure which from the outside looks brilliant.

Agreed about the format, far too many one sided games. Our neighbours Westmeath seem to have an ultra competitive format this year, might be one worth copying. Garrycastle relegated to intermediate, hard not to see the same happening to our own Leinster club champs Mullinalaghta in a few years, the big question is can they add one or even two more county titles before the decline . I wouldn't think there are many posters on here who's club as only been senior grade in their lifetime.

Garrycastle only won the senior championship in 2019! Only Killoe, Slashers and Mostrim have consistently been senior in my time. We were the lowest of the low in the early 90s and things quickly changed, clubs need to swallow their pride for their own good.
