Predictions for the weekend ahead
Glynn Barntown V Crossabeg: Paudie Foley back by all accounts and played football last weekend, think this could be a draw
Anne's V Ferns: Two teams with ambitions of winning it, Ferns by 3
Gorey V Oulart: Gorey by 6 too much quality you would think.
Oylegate V Cloughbawn: Cloughbawn fairing well so far think Oylegate need a win and will get one by 4 points.
Shels V Rapparees: Rapparees struggles to continue Shels by 4
St Martins V Faythe Harriers: Martins haven't impressed so far think Harriers will win by 1.

See an add on social media promoting Mondays club games.
Touting come see Lee chin and Rory o connor.
Fair enough only all the players prob would have preferred to be done early in the weekend to enjoy a few days off especially on a bank holiday weekend uth nearly 2 weejs befure next football ganes Monday night is not fair on them .
Never mind the Fleadh being on the whole week I m sure many of them young lads will be working can't enjoy the weekend or the Fleadh .
More gauling is the fact you can pay on the gate tap and go .
Certainly tells you where priorities lie when anyone could attend by paying on the gate . Whilst the rest of the year . Any older less computer aware cant pay on the gate . Even with their credit debit or card whichever .
It's disgraceful they can do what they want ,when they want .
It's the right thing to do yes for sure,
but it's the right thing to do every game not just when they feel a killing can be made.
Let's hope they keep it in place going forward if not they will lose even more face .

Made it to the park on Saturday Anne's deserving winners. Ferns looked a bit leggy and Anne's ran out comfortable enough in the end. Kyle Kennedy really scoring heavily got a kicked goal that made the difference in the end. Big wins for Martins and Shels in other group Rapps look to be improving wouldnt rule them out yet either.

Yea in the park Saturday and Monday!!! Have to say ferns looked very good in the first half getting lots of ball into morris and getting scores and creating scores!!! In the second half tho he went out the field and fern looked like all they wanted to do was lump ball in to no1 really!!! I think that suited the Anne's and they got a foot hold in the game,the Anne's been the Anne's kept goin till the end and to be fair deserved there win!!! Kyle Kennedy hurled very well!! The Anne's are a resolut team they seem to be able to stay in games and ultimately come out on top in the end!!! They are going well!!! Ferns just petered out of the game no real change of game plan when long ball wasn't working and I think they ran out of a bit of gas in final 10-12 mins!!!
Shels v rapps was a good tight game end to end stuff really!!! Shels made a lot of changes to there starting team!!! Rapps grew into the game and played well in patches but for me they are missing to many key players!!! I felt the shels might have taken the rapps for granted but still had enough as the brought on the cavalry to get them over the line!!! The 2 peppers got on a lot of ball and kev foyle was sweeping and got on lots of ball!!! Great to Liam Liam Ryan back on the pitch!!! Shels at full strength would have won the game easier but I suppose they are trying to manage the load with players which is probably wise if you can afford to do it!!! Paddy Connors was good for the shels along with his brother Michael at full back!!! Eoin Doyle was sweeping for shels was on a lot of ball!!! The two molones played well also!!!
Faythe harriers v martins was the game of the weekend I'd say,a intensely fought battle the went to the wire!!! I thought the harriers were a bit off up front lacked the punch of the previous game,didn't work hard enough up there particularly in second half!!! I still think there is way more in the harriers!! The martins I feel are only average to be honest I think if you take Rory O'Connor or if you can stop him or the ball goin into him which the harriers couldnt,the rest of the forwards are not offering a whole lot!!! I thought connal Clancy played well for harriers,lee chin battled away but I'd say he is disappointed with the missed frees at the end with the wind to win it for the harriers,have to it to richie kehoe again he had another great game was the creator and leader at the back for harriers again what a warrior!!! Make no bones about it I think the harriers should of won the game with 2 or 3 points to spare they had plenty of chances on the run in to win the game!!! On the flip side fory O'Connor got wonder points at the end maybe 3 or 4 to clinch the game!!! He was the difference in the last 7 or 8 mins!!! They'll have to improve a lot if there to be genuine contenders but time is on their side.

Ferns looked really good in the first half but didn't appear from the dressing room after the break. As you said they looked leggy and there is some serious miles on a good few of that team, hard to see either of those teams challenging for honours come the end of the campaign though.
I don't know about anyone else but I'm not enjoying the games near as much as previous seasons as the real jeopardy isn't there.

Agree, seems to be a lot less interest on this forum and from talking to people about games. The real competition won't start for weeks. Some teams are only tipping away it seems. Others need to win games to avoid relegation.

I'd agree no game really matters till after the group games,then it's game on!!! I really doesn't matter a whole lot where you finish,if you can get it all together from there you have a great chance!!! This championship is wide open,I think anyone can beat anyone on there day
