If we win our last 3 games we will definitely go up now. Before last night if we won all our games, Leitrim won all their games, and Laois only lost to Leitrim but won the rest of their games, Laois and Leitrim would've gone up.

Because playing at home normally confers an extra advantage. We have to travel to Sligo, would you not rather that game was in Wexford ?

Is it really that clear-cut ??
Laois & Leitrim have dropped 2 points, we've dropped 3.

Yes, and if they draw then there's, potentially, at least 3 teams on level points

Anyone serious about getting promoted will certainly have to win all their remaining games. No more than ourselves, ye still have to play Wicklow & Sligo, and they'll be two tough games for us both. You'd have to feel that next weekend will seperate the wood from the trees.

Not necessarily - in fact I think there is a significant chance NONE of the teams will win all their remaining matches. One of them might of course, but I'm pretty certain the second team promoted will probably have one more defeat

E.g. (contenders win at home)
-- I have a feeling Leitrim could very well win at home (beat Laois and Sligo), but could lose away to Wicklow
-- That leaves Wexford, who could lose in Sligo
-- Wicklow lose away to Wexford

That means they all lose 1.

Lots of other scenarios - but one more loss (although undesirable) is not fatal - may depend where you lose

Agree 100%. Probably 5 teams maybe 6 will have something to play for in the last weekend of fixtures.

If you're "serious" about getting promoted... key word there. No team would want to drag themselves into a dog fight depending on other teams to trip up and given point difference. Only 3 games left with 5 teams in with a shout. The one who wins them all will get promoted. The problem we have is that we have the 3 toughest teams left and for that reason I'm not overly confident of our chances.

I don't know about that. We have Carlow, Wicklow and Sligo away. All tough games too as Carlow and Wicklow would be the derbies for us. Our recent record against Waterford wouldn't be great either derby games take on a life of their own.

Good performance against a terrible Waterford side on Saturday, Waterford is a prime example of a GAA county neglecting one sport completely and they have fallen off the charts in the past two years.

Sligo away is a another big test and a measuring mark for Wexford, have we improved enough to win on the road against a football county? We looked to be improving last year but were taken apart by Leitrim in Carrick On Shannon. Sunday v Sligo will be major if we win and keep us right in the promotion hunt. It's a wide open division now after Wicklow's win away to Laois.

Should be an interesting table in Division 4 after next weekend.

We are home for Wicklow. I would rank the Sligo game the toughest of those three.

I wouldn't be looking at any game other than Sunday in Sligo.
Not too many teams in Division 2 would fancy a trip away to Sligo so this is a big game.
