Replying To Stmunnsriver:  "maybe he should keep coleman under wraps now till laois game, no point in hin v wicklow or carlow"
I doubt very much if they would send him out not fully recovered from injury and given he hasn't played much this year so far he may need the games. Promotion is gone but continuing to refine a game plan will be important for the championship and he should be an important cog in that plan,

According to this week's Wexford people Coleman, Porter and Liam o'connor are out of the rest of the league, Dylan Furlong and Darragh Lyons out for Saturday ( Lyons picked up the injury in a challenge game v Tipp last Friday) while Gavin Sheehan is touch and go for Saturday.

Porter has been out with his knee. Coleman has been playing through the pain barrier no point risking him more with promotion very unlikely at this stage.
As regards the hurlers MOH rolled his ankle on the notorious PUC sod, Dee got a dead leg, Devitt damaged his knee in training, Lawlor, Chin, and ROC have missed time with ongoing injury issues from the last few years, Ryan got ligament damage in his hand.
None of these injuries are down to poor preparation. There is no S and C work that can strengthen ligaments and tendons, or prevent you getting a dead leg from a knock.

in all fairness that was some game of football!!! great credit to both teams, they went out and just let rip, played the game as it should be played, we were the better team but the 2 goals we gave up killed us [gave away 4 in a practice v tipp last week, scored 1.17 or 18] we are improving every day [sligo aside] and a must admit i think the future is bright there are 4 or 5 very good players on that u20 team that will be a massive boost , looking forward to the laois game now, we have a lot of players to come back in and they are some of our best players ,coleman, porter, sars wing back, now do u bring these lads in [lacking game time] or go with the lads who have, who would be a manager? will he go for a win over carlow or use it to give game time to panel members?

Momentum is paramount.
Winning becomes a habit and even though it was a draw last night the lads played really well.
As Wicklow beat Laois in an earlier game we should have no fears in OMoore Park in a few weeks time.
Goal scoring seems to be a problem but I believe that will resolve itself over time.
19 points is a good haul any day of the week. So let's go out next Sunday and beat Carlow, which will increase confidence when we come up against the midlander.

Brilliant game last night, 2 teams played the game the right way taught we deserved to win on the balance of play but 2 goals were killers, impressive performances all over the field but taught Niall Hughes was outstanding.

nice to get the win, but the game its self was a bit of a let down, the wicklow match set the bar very high, while we never looked like loosing it, it took till injury time to seal it, great to see sheehan back and he was flying, tubritt and furlong got game time to, rossiter back on form to, even with 4 to 5 lads still out its hard to know how he will line us out for the laois game, but looking forward to it

We had a load more chances than they did too. Plenty to build on ahead of the Tailteann Cup. Tbh I didn't expect us to go up this year, especially with a few key lads injured. Overall I think Hegarty has us moving in the right direction. A year ago we would've conceded 2 late goals instead of scoring one and lost that game.

I hope that we are on the right track as much as some of ye think. The bare facts are that we won 3 games out of a possible 7 where we had home advantage for 4 of those.
Before the League started that would have been seem as a disastrous campaign.
Only Saying!!
