Mayo v Dublin on the Sunday along with Cork v Derry. At least the Mayo lads will have 7 days rest rather than 6. Best of luck Mayo.

They sound like the Mayo GAA Banter style of Mayo fan Belclare. I hope they're minority of us.

Replying To letsgetgoing:  "Brave move by McStay and the selectors to make so many changes before a big game. If you can keep Con O' Callaghan to a couple of points I think ye will do it, as Kilkenny, Rock and a couple of other players are no longer the players they once were. However they are capable of rising to the occasion as they have proved in the past. You would not want to get ahead of yourselves however as Galway were very unlucky with injuries on Sunday and missed a clear goal chance. The Mayo draw will motivate Dublin and ensure that the missing Dublin supporters will reappear. It should be a great atmosphere.
Best of luck from a Rossie.
Question: If Dublin and Kerry both win, will they be kept apart for the semi final? Only asking!!!"
No repeat pairings according to RTE. Does that mean that if there are no repeat pairings possible that the Saturday winners will play the first semi and Sundays winners in the second semi?

Mayo winning was as much due to Galways inability to score. How many wides did they have in the end. Missed frees etc. Comer going off changed the game for me. He's so unlucky with injuries.

Mayo kicked some poor wides too…three bad ones in a row in the first half. Wind was a huge factor in the game.

Still very hard to know where we are at. The Dublin game will give us the answer to that question though.

The GAA must be delighted with the pairings.

Dublin played Kerry in last year's semi final so I would say they will be kept apart this time around. If they both win next weekend of course.

Sadly this Mayo squad have left an All Ireland or two behind them. Will go down as probably the best team never to win Sam. Dublin by 5+.

Dublin. Ah Dublin.

Dublin at the minute remind me somewhat of a childhood best friend, a friend that youll always love and whos back youll always have, but a friend nonetheless who in recent times has just done things that are out of character with the person youve known and bonded with for so long. that you wouldn't expect from them. Things that have just gotten on your nerves to the point where, you just can't stick being in the same room as them without wanting to shake the life out of them. I honestly can't stand them at the minute but deep down know what a great person they are and will be again some day.

And it's not even that they've changed *that* much. It's just the little things.

With the Dubs it's the unforced errors. The inability to break down a defensive team despite being the absolute masters of it for so so long. The woefully slow starts. The lack of imagination. The shooting from ridiculous distances and angles, shots dropping short, not getting the hand in and then commiting stupid fouls in stupid areas of the pitch. No movemebr for the kickouts. AHHHH!! and what's worse is its the experienced heads.

Back to the friend analogy and with Sunday coming up, how do I put this ? I'm dying to see them, I'm full of excitement and enthusiasm and I think we can have another one of our great memorable days to talk about in years to come, but what's more likely when I get there I'll probably get to a point really quickly where I just wanna go home.

Mayo will win. But jesus I'd love the real version of my best pal back please.

This Mayo squad? Of the team that will start Sunday there will be maybe 2 of the 2017 starting line up. With maybe 2 more on bench.

Fair enough that was too general. I probably should have said this recent era.

Mayo won but they embarrassed themselves as men. It's shame to see this nastiness happening."
I don't condone what he done but there were plenty of nasty stuff going on both both sides.. O Tomas o Se said he was the unlucky one to be caught on camera. Its part of most intercounty games. It shouldn't be but it is. Calling him a coward is a bit unfair.. He takes a lot of punishment physically for the Mayo cause.. 2 head high tackles last week v Cork and not even a free

Sure there are lots of high and wreckless challenges in the game, some of them with intent but thankfully the type of sly stamp we saw yesterday with Kelly facing away from O'Donoghue is not part of most intercontinental games. Cowardly is an apt description in this case.

not sure it that's true re: intercontinental, some of those state side matches can get pretty tasty

He had an unhealthy obsession with Donegal earlier this year. Good to see he found his way home.
