All matches on a Sunday. 4 homes games, with away matches against Meath, Dublin and Clare. A weekend away to Ennis is on the cards.

That first game against Clare is huge Ollie. Win that and we have a chance.

It sure is Greengrass. Louth have not won their opening game in the league since 2017 when they beat Laois at O Moore Park.

Good fixtures if you ask me , need to be looking at Clare, Limerick, Meath and Cork as must win games, 3/4 of them must be won if we want a realistic chance of staying up and why can't we !

A match against the Dubs in Croke Park is a plus as well.

I saw an article online that Decky Byrne is back in the panel as a goalkeeper option, supposedly other incomings/outgoing from the panel, couldn't see on the article what other changes Mickey had made to the panel.
Anyone know who is in /out ?

Good that Deckie is back in panel. Thought he left prematurely.
If he's not in goals I'd be happy to see him come on for last 20 minutes of game.
It would be great to see the full panel. Will there be a Byrne Cup this winter?

I don't think too many people would of knowing that Foreveryoung. Don't be too harsh on the master Greengrass.

Ignore foreveryoung Ollie. He's an attention seeker.

Mickey Harte been ratified as Slaughtneil senior football manager tonight I see.

He is going to double job for two years between county and club, not an ideal situation.

With the split season he probably feels he will have July, August and September with Slaughtneil.

If I were Peter Fitzpatrick I'd be telling Mickey Harte where to go with himself. How could any self respecting county, never mind a team in Division 2 next year, have a manager double jobbing. Just wouldn't be acceptable anywhere else.

Oisin McConville is supposedly coming back to Inniskeen when Wicklow inter-county season ends.

R.I.P to Jim McArdle who passed away the other day. Another one of the great 1957 Louth winning team leaves us.
