Replying To Dunnor:  "So Carrickedmond win their appeal but the Co Board are proceeding with the games. They really are clueless."
Apparently won on conflict of interest but ccc have setup a new committee to review it. So won on that basis not on actual game from my understanding.

Why wasn't that sorted before the day before all round it's mess by county board etc all round.
Doesn't look good on the competition

Well it looks like they are still not getting a fair hearing considering the CB are still ignoring the process and continuing with the games.

They aren't turning up to play tonight anyway.

So what's happening with Carrick/Slashers game, are Carrick boycotting? Are slashers being "given" the game? Makes no sense to cancel that match from a county board's point of view and to then allow QF's to be played?

This scenario with Carrickedmond is very unfair and disrespectful towards them to go ahead with QF's. I'll stop stop short of saying it's pure arrogance.
For years there has been spats between clubs and the CB inevitably leading to poor relations and it does have an effect on our county team (the less said there the better) but also is this arrogance preventing potential managers from within from putting their hand up to manage the county team as an outside manager will be treated far better and be given free reign?? Our last few managers came and went (with the $) and there is absolutely nothing to show for it. We are bottom half Div 4 team at the moment and people at the top should be held to some account for this. Things are not been managed well.

Fair play to Colmcille they weren't given a chance this eve. Dromard could have pulled it off too but for the sending off. There is really nothing between most teams on the day

Carrick could pay for that. Can't see them winning their appeal. Should beat Mostrim but you never know. Mostrim have a big result in them

Just a quick remark on Diarmuid Masterson yesterday, outstanding in for Dromard in defeat and being v impressive all championships again. Some going for a 38 year old. He'll be irreplaceable whenever he decides to hang them up.

Not yet Slashers have not been awarded the WO

Agree. Excellent servant for Dromard.

Slashers will get the WO. If a team doesn't show up to play a game then it's a WO, there is no grey area with it.

A big fall from grace by Vlonguish. With all their talent big things we're expected from them this year. Reality is that the only matches they won this year ess against a Dromard zide who never turned up and an Abbeylara team who had already qualified for QFs.
What was their excuse yesterday ax they had their big guns out.
Can't see this dude going a 5 in a row

A team that hasn't won a championship in 15 years isn't exactly a fall from grace. I'm sure with their current crop they'll win a couple of championships.

Fluked to a final last year, Mullinalaghta let them back into in the 1/4 finals and a certain ref got them over the line with Dromard in the semi final. All the talk from the club is we are coming etc but they aren't. I agree they will pick up the odd championship along the way but can't see them dominate like killoe or a Mullinalaghta.
