a win on Sunday but performance wasn't great, Ryan O'rourke, Darragh Rooney and McNulty were good up front. Defenders did well at times. bit worried about Donal Wrynn, he has a lot of work to do on fitness, surprised he stayed on as long as he did. great news about the Walsh kid, he'll bring another dimension to our play. 2 worst teams outta the way so bigger challenges to come. onwards and upwards.

Tough enough game Sunday at times. London set up ultra defensive. I'm struggling to think have I ever seen a more negative setup in Pairc Sean. At least when they retreated back and Leitrim had the ball, it meant they couldn't score. We were lucky with a few balls bouncing around in the square. Darragh Rooney was class. Operating in tight space at all times one of his points was a cracker. Well worth pressing buttons on me phone for half an hour trying to buy a ticket. I thought the lads tried hard and it was honest endeavour, can't ask for more than that from them. Hope the next game is a bit more open.

The way the fixtures have feel for Leitrim it really was a matter of winning the first 2 games then a week off. Now it is a case of 1 game at a time. If we can get over the line against Wexford then it nearly puts them out of contention as we would have them on head to head if it came down to it.

Well said,London always believe they can beat us but they are well structured and will take points in Ruislip. Good to see Leitrim adapting to their tactics great discipline and maturity. Wexford are there for the taking .

We lost by 10 but it wasn't all bad for us. We had numerous chances to kick points in the last 15 minutes but kept trying to work goals and getting turned over, on account of being flat and giving them a good lead at the start . If we get a good start and be a bit smarter we could beat you. I'd still have you favourites up there though.

Wexford will definitely fancy their chances, sure they bate us last year. The league is far from over, plenty of twists and turns yet.

We have alot to improve on from the last day. And we are away. I wouldn't write us off either but you are favourites!

Of course - in this league nobody ever wants to be favourites, which I suspect we will be (slightly) despite Wexford beating us twice last year - in the league ( in Wexford) and the Tailteann Cup (Parnell Park).

If we are favourites its only because of home advantage ( they would be favourites in Wexford) - but as I said elsewhere most of these Division 4 teams play each other so frequently that advantage diminishes as they are so familiar with the opposition. Definitely helps though.

Wasn't at any of matches to date but hope to get to see this one - by all accounts forwards are playing well. Think its a huge game for both teams - a loss narrows the wriggle room for Wexford; and for Leitrim with 3 away games back-to-back you'd think they would need 2pts here. ( 3 pts from the 3 away games would keep them in the frame for sure going into the last game vs Tipp)

I think the game vs Carlow away in round 4 will be massive. You'd expect us to get a win over Wexford at home. This Carlow team is motoring very nicely and they've picked up two great wins so far. We've struggled down through years playing in Dr Cullen park. A win here and you'd imagine it will inspire us to go to Longford the next weekend and win there. Either way you look it's going to be very tough to get out of this division. Rarely has many teams got out of this division with two losses. We can only really afford to lose one game and pick up a draw. At the same time we are capable of winning every game.

I wouldn't be calling for Andy's head if we don't get promoted this year. We are playing a great brand of football and he's bringing on some good young players. Yes he's made mistakes in the past 3 years but give him some credit it was his first real management job. With Micky Graham in too I'd give them another year.

Good positive post.Great to hear that former Fermanagh star Ryan Jones has joined Andy coaching the Under 20's.This year it's on a round robin basis giving us 5 game's starting next month. Word is we have a strong squad.

That's good to hear I was getting worried about the u20's it must be very tough for Andy and Micky over both. We have a strong squad but hopefully the 3 lads in the senior squad will be able to play. They played Donegal u20's at the weekend. Came off second best but a good performance overall.

Don't think anyone hear thinks we are "great". Two games two wins and top of the table. That's all we could ask for in the first two games. Plenty of tougher games to come.

Meanwhile Longford are already destined to stay in div4 for another year. Your best player transferred to Roscommon and most senior club players rejected joining Paddy Christie's panel. Don't think you are in a position to come in firing shot's at anyone right now.

He's kind of right though, unless there's an improvement on the London game we won't win many more games

The best brand of football is winning. The type of football we play is irrelevant. The result is what matters.

'most senior club players rejected joining Paddy Christie's panel'?
Where did you get that incorrect nonsense from?

Don't worry about this guy, he's full of unsupported points. Amongst other things he told us last year about players with the county u20 squad that couldn't make their clubs second team but of course couldn't back it up. Has zero credibility on here.

Have a look at the Longford Forum were over the past few weeks they've spoke of the absence of high profile senior players on the panel and any player from the club of Clonguish (county finalists). As well as the ever rotating door that is Longford selectors. I think its plain to see all is not well within the Longford camp.

Also there were some Mohill and St Mary's u20 squad players that were not nailed down starters for their second teams. I was trying to make the point the previous u20 management selected a large amount of St Mary's players instead of players who were starting for their senior clubs.
