Replying To WanPintWin:  "He tipped them with a couple of BIG ifs. Saying that they need to do a huge amount right to win. He also said it's possible that they get blown away, if they get dragged into a physical battle.
The best of luck to both teams today. I'm hoping for a competitive game that has me on the edge of my seat."
Ya agree, hopefully its competitive

I swear the players are throwing the ball not hand passing it

I don't know how this will finish but Limerick seem to be almost toying with Cork. Looking very powerful right now. Cork need to stop fooling around in front of their own goalmouth with these short puck outs.

This Limerick team is up there with the very best, in the top 5 of all time.

Talk about blitzkrieg, this is one-way stuff so far. Huge effort needed from Cork to even turn this into a game at this stage. Limerick knocking it over from every part of the field.

Cork getting well beaten at this point. Too many side ways passes, especially in front of goal. Limerick more direct, just pucking the ball.

Unfortunately going the way I had feared. Cork are 3/4 years behind limerick with conditioning and implementing their tactics/game plan. Disappointing for the neutral again this year.

There was a bit of a crackdown on it in the league last year, back to being ignored again now.

Limerick's first and third goals came from Cian Lynch hand passes that were dubious, particularly the second one.

The rules will surely have to change. 3-18 in a half. Limerick missed another 1-5.

Make the ball heavier. The Hurley lighter. Ban the handpass unless a clear strike. Only one catch allowed. Anything.

There were no tackles or hits or challenges in that entire half. They say the Football is boring but this is worse

Any doubt now about Limerick being one of the greatest teams?

Yeah, I thought for the Cork goal there was a blatant throw coming out of defence. And that's just one example if numerous possible throws in that half.

Very annoying about this new rule abandoned now after It cost Clare big time. Actually it cost us again Clare. Beaten by 3 and a phantom penalty. We may have gone the direct route. These rule people should be ashamed. It is cheating.

The only question is is this the greatest performance in an All Ireland final ever? I'd say so. Certainly greatest first half display

Should Limerick be split into 2 or 4? Got that in before the Dubs lol?

Cork are expending so much energy trying to tippy tappy the ball even as far as the half way line. They might score the odd point or two from it but it's hardly worth the effort.

We're witnessing arguably the greatest display of hurling ever, an exhibition and there's lads here whinging about a couple of hand passes!!! Beyond embarrassing

At 53 mins Limerick have 11 and 1 save against them. So their scoring rate of shots is on 74% it's just there is no challenges anywhere
