2020 Leinster Senior Hurling Championship Final

2021 Leinster Senior Hurling Championship Semi-Final

Dublin 1-18 Galway 1-14

When. if ever, do your boys become men?"
To get a clearer picture of who won Leinster titles I suggest you compare two decades, the one before Galway joined the Leinster championship and the following one! I think you'll see a better spread of titles in the latter decade!

It was disappointing. Cork clearly the better team and thought it was going to be a right hammering after ten minutes.

In fairness they fought back well and left nothing on the field.

Big win for Cork as well. A lot of good young players both on this side and in senior squad. Have feeling we might meet again this Summer.

Wexford and Clare will be one for the ages! You'd assume Waterford will have too much for Laois but as we in the metropolis know and as Antrim know, you underestimate them at your peril.

It really is an unwieldy system compared to the football.

Worst possible draw for ourselves and Clare. Best possible for the GAA. Strange that the draw was supposed to be on tv but the actual draw wasnt on tv????!!!! By the time the winners of the round 1 games meet Galway or Cork they will have played at least 3 games in less than a month compared to Galway and Corks 1.

Laois had a decent win over antrim but with the team they had out nothing else would have been good enough. I know antrim have been much improved this year under Gleeson whereas Laois have been absolutely diabolical under cheddar. At least they got one win this year but it will all fade away into insignificance if the Deise hand Laois a 20 plus point hammering. The jusy is out whether that was a much improved Laois display or whether Antrim had an off day time will tell. Fella I work with from Waterford expects a big win for the Deise I find it hard to disagree but hope springs eternal.

Thought you had a great win I watched the game. Beat Westmeath next month and you are staying in div1 too. Many little steps make a long journey.

The draw was on morning ireland which was live on tele (RTE news) but to my amazment the Camera wasnt on the guy picking the balls out of the bowl,it waa on the broadcaster, but when the draw was finished the Camera went back on the guy who picked the balls out! Preplanned!

I'm not usually a conspiracy theorist but it was just very strange. I'd of rather we were playing Cork or Waterford. It is what it is now.

Considering the video's of GAA draws that have circulated over the last couple of years, anything is possible!

I have always thought that is ridiculous. All the teams lost their first game. The teams that were in provincial semis already got the benefit of only one game to the finals. This by pulling from the hat. We benefitted in Minster last year but that does not make it right.

A very unfair draw for both Clare and Wexford. No reward for winning a game whilst 2 other teams who already had a provincial bye and lost, get another bye.

Why would the GAA fix the draws what is the benefit to them?

This is why the draw was changed from the sunday game to morning ireland, so they have time to arrange matches, this is simply not right!

I can never quite figure out how the Gaa work work these draws..if Clare beat Wexford can they meet Waterford again or is it a case of them playing Galway..

Feel bad for Clare especially when their defeat was suspect to say the least. Wexford also battled well in their defeat. One of the two are going to be out. I guess we could say a suspect penalty also was an influence but Clare were really 14 points better than us not 4 on the day.

If Clare win they will play Cork or Galway or less likely Laois. They cant play Waterford. It is strange that purely by luck of the draw Cork and Galway have both ended up with 2 byes this year while the other 4 counties didnt get any byes at all. A very unlikely outcome statistically.
