It could be a case of HPNF.

Yes, but the Limerick Minors beat a very heralded Cork Minor team by 2.19. to 13 points.

Bit strange coming onto this tread to see all the focus on a Galway poster and not the excellent Limerick performance! I hope the Limerick people are not getting bored of success this quickly.. Ban (Westmeath) - Posts: 1467 - 13/12/2020 19:26:57 2322063 Link 0 |
I generally agree with you on all that, The city, for the most part and a couple of the major towns- none of them are that big- are practically all football, but NCW had a couple of players on the under age hurling teams over the weekend and that is encouraging.

Thanks Canuck. I know how you feel- we older Limerick supporters have there several times-but if that team sticks together I feel they can bridge that gap in the next few years. They met a LK team today that was just farther down the road in terms of their hurling development. Keeping Cahill and his team intact is vital and the team should recognise they have made substantial progress this year

Good game, Waterford were game but came up against a brillant Limerick display. moc.dna (Galway) - Posts: 1212 - 13/12/2020 19:53:12 2322080 Link 0 |
You're probably right, but the bitter, fairly miserable attacks that particular poster has consistently made on Limerick hurling over the last few years have made her stand out for all the wrong reasons.. Its a bit of fun for us to be honest. These are great days for Limerick hurling and we're going to enjoy them. skillet (Limerick) - Posts: 1106 - 13/12/2020 19:53:39 2322081 Link 1 |
Limerick are still a few years ahead of Cork Oldtourman. Read an interesting article by your man Ryan in the examiner this morning opened my eyes a little to the great effort that has been put into underage up in your county the last 10 years or so. And none of that has anything to do with money. Alot of hurling people making a big effort and a county board and clubs and schools and colleges working together to a good plan.

Can anyone inform me what an assistant goalkeeping coach does?! republicofcloone (Leitrim) - Posts: 375 - 13/12/2020 20:08:22 2322092 Link 0 |
Congratulations to Limerick on a solid winning performance and commiserations to Waterford who I hope to see back in the new year. Limerick are a brilliant team but thanks to Waterford too who gave us some great displays to help us over the lock down. CiarraiMick (Dublin) - Posts: 3874 - 13/12/2020 20:11:15 2322094 Link 1 |
