Replying To tiobraid:  "Well done to Limerick. Fantastic performance, just so much sharper and more physical than Waterford. Waterford can hold their heads up high. They fought hard and worked a few goal chances that might have kept it closer.
Another year where the winners have gone their last 4 games without scoring a goal.
Limerick are becoming the Dublin of football, they're such a machine that the games lack the excitement of other teams and I don't mean that in a disrespectful way. There's huge questions regarding the funding of Dublin in footbaLl but there's no hurling county getting the funding that limerick is getting and that should be looked at also. Anyone that can hire one of the most expensive managers in the game as an underage coach must have a never ending amount of cash.
Having said all that, it's limericks day. Their work rate and stick passing and fitness is insane."
Give it up, suck it up and just congratulate Limerick and forget about all the other nonsense you write. My god there is some bitterness from some of neighbouring counties on another county's sucess

Well done Limerick, super team, they have everything on the pitch that few others have so well done. Hard luck to Waterford, must be heartbreaking for them. But Limerick are deserved winners, fabulous awesome skills.

Congratulations Limerick on a very powerful performance. Huge work rate and skilled first touch and almost unerring accuracy plus the ability to change tactics when needed yielded a superb win.
Waterford tried their best but came up against a better team and their effort was admirable.

A few gosl chances did not succeed early in the game and Waterford needed them to have a real chance.
When Waterfird did come back Limerick responded brilliantly with magnificent scores and fully deserved their victory.
Limerick have the right ingredients to be there for a while.
I hope De Burca's injury us not too serious.

Great performance from
Limerick and they look like they could dominate for a few years.
Fair play to Waterford they'll be disappointed but no shame in loosing to this Limerick team.

Best team won today. Limerick dominant from start, despite their best efforts Waterford could not catch Limerick. Good final for the neutrals, hope Waterford win Liam some day soon.

Ah Tiobraid, Back in'87 Babs was a trailblazer when he demanded the conditions for his players and they were then ahead of the frame and gained the Holy Grail by it. Why are you in such a hurry special to curtail a neighbouring county that has very support from local business until JP came along, who gains nothing whatever by helping Limerick, unlike most sponsors.

The effort being put in down in Cork at underage in the schools and clubs the last 5 years is starting to show now.

Agree totally this is a special team and well done to them. Hard luck Waterford but next year ye will come back stronger. If the Limerick lads stay motivated hard to see them not winning another couple over the next few years.

Commiserations to Waterford, any other year I would be cheering Waterford on and have done.
Ye have huge potential and I hope ye get back again, we know how hard it is to win one.
Nobody can fault the effort put in by the Waterford lads this year.

HS report on the final claims Limerick are 'the first team to rack up 30 pts in an All-Ireland final' but Kilkenny did it in 2008 (3-30) against Waterford.

Probably still passed out on her sitting room floor.

Her begrudgery makes our success all the sweeter.
Hon Limerick!!!
