Unreal game.Don't think 5 in a row will be done in hurling when Limerick didn't do it.

Titanic game. Cork were simply awesome. Thanks Limerick, you met your match today but you have been great champions and you will be back winning all irelands again in the near future.

Katser as unclassy and bitter as ever. Hard luck Limerick. Ye were great champions. One of the best ever.

Unbelievable game, hard luck to Limerick, ye have been unbelievably consistent and will be back knocking on the door next year no doubt.
Well done to Cork, savage intensity, hope they win it out now.

Why? One of the teams are well odds-on favourites to win. Whereas, in the Kilkenny v Clare semi-final, there is nothing to choose between them."
Well, with the benefit of hindsight, no doubt which was the better semifinal. There is always a big game in Cork, and the carrot of toppling Limerick was always going to be a motivator. Their chances were dismissed by neutrals and bookies, but down in Cork, people have got behind this team. Final will be another classic and we'll keep fingers crossed!

Probably be good if you could spell Limerick properly. Good seeing Galway settling this year's championship alight....

Sad to see Limerick lose but proud of how they went down. That was some performance by Cork and they would have blown any other team away. At half time it looked like we had weathered the storm and I was quite confident. But Cork owned the third quarter and got on top at midfield. And their backs hung in there when things were getting wobbly
Credit for Limerick for hanging in there and we could have snuck it in the end. But Cork deservedly held on.
It was some game, all the cliches apply - heroic, titanic
That time has given us so much. I hope they sign up again for another go round but wouldn't be surprised to see some go. Regardless we will see likes of English, the O'Connors, O Brien, O Dalaigh next year and players like O Neill take on more leadership positions

Ah come on did you ever hear the way "they" talk?
The way I spell it is the way "they" pronounce it!!
It's a bit mumbled....no more than the southeast lad!

Commiserations to all Limerick supporters and team etc.I know how you feel but you can be so proud of those great warriors that brought hurling to a new level. The 5 in a row is dead but those legends will never die in our minds.A truly magnificent team that went down like the true champions they are.Already looking forward to seeing Limerick thrive in next years championship.Keep the heads up!

Hard luck Limerick. Ye had a great run since 2018 and I don't think it's over yet. You're still loaded with awesome hurlers.

Better than all Ireland for you. You must be thrilled you've been waiting a few years to get it in.

Well done to Cork, deserved winners on the day. I'm gutted we lost Thought we are going to to come back towards the end but the few misses killed us. They left nothing on the field.

I'm wondering were the scenes of kiely and all the players staying around a sign that maybe some changes are on the way..he met jp and joe mc before going to dressing room, maybe I'm reading to much into it..I take it there might be a couple who will move aside,I know they are not old but some amount done in last 8 years..also Nicky,Dan,deccie and Graeme Mul are around since 2013 if I'm right..I hope I'm wrong..

It is a pleasure watching this team and I hoped for a deserving 5 in a row. Note I do not use past tense. Subs play a big part and Limerick have them. However I believe they were the down fall today. Not their ability but despite their skills and contribution, in this team you have to make better decisions when the game is on the line. The older heads would have got the scores to close the gap and maybe get a win. That goal was on. Easy be critical as a spectator and these young bucks will have their day.
