Whoever GAA Marketing team are need to surely look in mirror, surely the obvious was to do a package deal for group games of both ireland all and tailteann cup to encourage people to buy and attend all 3 games, again lazy and thinking people will pay over the odds for their county as its championship(even though its not really) Supporters will probably pick one group game to go to then wait until knockouts begin(ie Kerry and Mayo fans at weekend probably picked that fixture, would expect small numbers when they play both Louth and Cork though. Again this weekend Monaghan face Derry for the second time at 7pm on a Saturday night, fact played last month along with time and cost of game.plus travel dont think Celtic Park capacity be half full even. macca999 (Fermanagh) - Posts: 1054 - 22/05/2023 16:12:48 2480603 Link 0 |
If the GAA has a Marketing Department they need to get rid of it and install a new one. If not surely one of the Companies who sponsor the Championships could provide some expertise. Charging €15 for adults and €5 kids to TC Group games was the height of lunacy. Seanfanbocht (Roscommon) - Posts: 758 - 22/05/2023 16:28:09 2480609 Link 1 |

Anyone got a figure for Tipp vs Waterford. It's the only one we are missing from the Munster hurling championship. I heard during the week they were expecting around 19,000 but don't see an official figure mentioned anywhere. dahayeser (Cork) - Posts: 321 - 29/05/2023 10:14:02 2482466 Link 2 |
