There is usually a thread tracking crowds, I don't see one this year so I'll kick it off Football 13,654 Mayo Galway 17,500 Dublin Kildare 14,113 Armagh Mayo 7,000 Galway Roscommon 10,232 Kerry Monaghan Hurling 12,000 Wex Kilkenny (Walsh Cup) 8,200 Wex Galway 19,500 Cork Limerick Championship crowds there. Parnell nearly full. A sign that there is optimism around the team, but also as in other counties that people really enjoy watching inter county hurling even when the competition itself has been further diminished by the changes. It was interesting to talk to some of the Antrim people. They obviously see potential in the team, but frustrating to run the likes of Dublin and others close but not to get points on the board. Barely recall anything about it other than Jason missing a few chances, losing pretty half-heartedly and only having enough time for one quick pint in Tomkins pub opposite the train station.
