To those saying that one decision cost MM the game let me point you towards the 7th minute when #5 for MM picked the ball clean off the ground before delivering in the pass for the goal. By your collective logic PP should have won by 4. But of course games are in fact won over 60/70 minutes.

There was absolutely no damage caused to any dressing room by MM, that is an absolute lie. Firstly they weren't in the dressing rooms in the pitch and secondly there were a number of Roscommon GAA officials in the area they were changing and if there was anything happening out of order they would have been in there straight away. So whatever your views about the game, the Ref, the aftermath, it is not fair to try to blacken a teams name with complete untruths - get your facts right before posting"
MM we're in dressings rooms, 2 dressing room to be exact and there was damage done.

No damage was done to the rooms in the hall by MM - and anybody that says different is lying

MM were given access to the community hall owned y Roscommon Gaels and there was damage done to the hall - so there is no one lying here

Quantify the damage please. They are dangerous accusations to be making so please back up with specifics.

Don't mind them, they can't back it up at all, but they'll keep saying it.

Exactly, they probably heard it from their brothers' friends' aunts' cat!! That's often an issue with this forum, people post on hearsay and wont listen to people who were actually there or who have first hand experience of what's going on

Anyway, I'm reverting back to my usual rule on social media:
"Don't argue with stupid, they'll only bring you down to their level and beat you with experience"

Confirmed from a member of the Ros Gaels club executive who saw the damage himself. Door into Hyde Centre damaged and a table broken. Photos taken. Poor form but nothing too serious. We've all slammed a door/table in frustration after a loss. Ros Gaels should be made whole by those responsible and that should be the end of it

Yes it will be low scoring with 2 defensive teams, a goal could be vital. Pearses to shade it 1-7 to 7 for me

I fancy Knockmore with home advantage to win a low scoring match by a point or two. Pearses are a good goal scoring team and Knockmore will have a strong objective to stop them scoring any goals.

Pearses are very fortunate to be in the final, thanks to the referee's bizarre decisions against MM. As such there is no pressure on them and they have nothing to lose. That could make the difference.

Hopefully Knockmore can do the business, good luck to them

Name the decisions. The mark was the only debatable one I saw and judging the game on 60plus minutes the best team on the day was Pearses.

Going to be a competitive final between two well organised teams that rarely concede big scores. Knockmore have the advantage of the match played in Ballina and them already having won a few important matches in that venue in this campaign.

Countless debatable decisions. The mark wasnt even remotely debatable. Not even the most ardent Pearses fan could not dispute.

Stop please with your USA/ros bias. Mayo teams have a pathetic record at home as witnessed yet again in bekan tonight . If knockmore win ( which i expect they will) it will be because they are a better team than Pearses...just likw mountbellew were if it wasnt for mr henry.

I'm UK based and Galway born, have attended most of this years County finals and both of Mountbellew Moylough Connacht championship games. I don't do bias, I call games as I see them.

If Countless debatable decisions then you should have no problem naming some so we can debate them.

Mountbellew Moylough was not the better team,in that match and for whatever never brought their Galway form into this Connacht campaign and lost all discipline against Pearses, The best they played in the game was the first 10 minutes 2nd half against the 14 men of Pearses.

Knockmore are unlikely to lose their rag like Mountbellew did, just like Pearses a well organised outfit that make themselves difficult to beat, they'll be more than pleased with familiar surroundings of Ballina.
