Yea,massive game Sunday,we will be under serious pressure if we lose....my understanding of the championship is that in all probability 6th won't be high enough of a finish, hopefully afew injuries will have cleared up

this is all set up for a kildare win on sunday, all the old Louth teams would crumble, this will and could be the making of them, a win and it would be massive for Louth, defeat would be disastrous, theres no need for them to be relegated. I actually think Tailteann cup could be a great tournament for Louth. I dont think it would do Meath any harm either wilth a young building team.

You could also say how come Peaches Califf is spending so much time in the forwards when Sam the Man is spending so much time in the backs?......Sure what would I know as long as we keep winning....very perplexing

Great result today against Kildare especially given the whipping we got from them last year in Tullamore. It will take a series of freak results for us not to maintain our Div 2 status at this stage. We won't be afraid of cork at home in 2 weeks either. An Lu Abu

Another great performance by our new confident Louth team. Always in control there, we beat Meath now this, beating Kildare. Great effort with few mistakes especially in defence. Forwards were good too, took the goals well, some timely points and frees, could have won by more with a few balls dropping short. Tommy D was my m.o t m immnence. Hope Sam is alright as he is such an important link man for us now as well as long range free.s. We'll done to all involved, onwards and upwards, Up the Wee county.

Another well earned 2 points today, built up a nice lead and held Kildare at arms length fairly comfortably,6 pts is great position to be in and we possibly cud of had 2/3 more points, and we had more than our fair share of injuries to contend with, roll on Cork in 2 week.....

Well done Louth! Not many people would have predicted ye would be second highest placed Leinster team in the league after 5 rounds. On this form, a Leinster final spot is a realistic target.

Great to see Louth doing well
I have soft spit for them since they were robbed of Leinster title

Great win today . Ensures we stay up and get included in draw for Sam. We should get in anyway as we look good for the Leinster final. We might win it..
Everyone played their part today. Hope Sam ic ok. Glad that Peaches didn't roam to much.
Thanks to Mickey and Co.

Lots of positives again today.
The spread of scorers is the most pleasing thing for me. No longer reliant on Sam with other players stepping up when needed.
Also a lot of the newer, inexperienced players look comfortable at this level.
And Tommy D, what a man!

Massive blow for Louth if Mulroy news is true

Not good, that's a major blow. You could argue our 2 best players are now out.
You are probably looking at Ryan Burns or Hughes on the frees.
Hopefully some of the other injuries clear up soon!

Meath will go in as underdogs surely in a leinster semi final vs Louth or West Meath surely thats rare. Would it be dangerous?

Westmeath are likely to be promoted the way they are playing, so they will be in Division 2 next year. Can't see us going in as favourites unless we beat Cork and Dublin....would be good though all the same.

Meath have to beat Longford or Offaly first.

Yeah Sam is out, hamstring injury from bad tackle in Kildare game. No card either, that type of tackle from behind which looks accidental never gets a card.
