Replying To Fkd12:  "Massive blow for Louth if Mulroy news is true"
Yeah Sam is out, hamstring injury from bad tackle in Kildare game. No card either, that type of tackle from behind which looks accidental never gets a card.

Hard luck for him and Louth. On the bright side someone else might get a chance to blossom. Either way best of luck in your next two matches.

Right lads and lassies, big one next weekend against Cork. Are we good for a win? We were not far off them last year in the championship, 4 points I think. Didn't take our goal chances and some poor tackles by Cork when we were breaking out on counter attack not given by ref. We were ultra defensive that day, if we played at all, we likely would have won, then beat Limerick, and then who knows. Think we are playing better now and are definitely Division 2 Standard. Up the Wee county.

Louth to beat Cork on Sunday and Dublin next Sunday to go up. Beat Derry in the Division 2 decider and in the Leinster Championship beat Westmeath, Meath and the Dubs to win Leinster. Wee can all hope and dream. An Lu Abu.

Great result today Ollie. Go out and give it all against the Dubs. Absolutely nothing to lose.

Great win yesterday and to win without Sam Mulroy and with Connor Grimes going off injured is just remarkable. The win also guarantees at least a 3rd place finish and Sam Maguire football this season, a huge achievement.

The only negative yesterday was RTE again refusing to give us any proper coverage. The excuse last night was that Ardee doesn't lend itself to TV coverage, this is just massively untrue. TG4 had cameras at our home game v Kildare two weeks ago and RTE themselves had highlights of two of our hone games in division 3 last season.

I think every man, woman and child knows RTE won't cover any match that Mickey Harte is involved in after what he wrote in his book about RTE.

They might show a few clips next week because they are playing the Dubs in Croker.

Fantastic win, management and team deserve huge applause. Dirty elbow to Conor deserved a red, hopefully he can be cleared for Croke park. Was strange to see Cork play the ball over and back the 45 for 2-3 mins and not take a shot with the wind. You would think a blanket defence was a new tactic. Atmosphere when Tommy came off and at end was special too. Roll on the Dubs.

Great achievement to be in this position especially after the first 2 games.
The heads didn't drop and they kept the belief in the system.

The biggest plus for me is that the burden of scoring doesn't rest on one man, its evenly spread throughout the team.
Next week is a bonus, a free hit against Dublin. Hopefully the lads just go an enjoy it.

All the craic with RTE is just BS, the feud with MH must still be rumbling on.

Well what an achievement by the Wee County to finish at least third in Division 2 after losing their first two matches. This was Louths first win over Cork since that famous day on Sunday 22nd of September 1957. And no better place to win it in Ardee where the great 1957 captain Dermot O Brien was from. Tommy Durnin had another outstanding match. Bring on the Dubs. An Lu Abu.

Savage campaign so far for Louth, great to see. They will be a very, very dangerous prospect for anyone going forward.
