Replying To CARPS:  "You think all other clubs in Carlow are 'failing?'' Oh, to be inside that Eire Og bubble...

And I may very well be involved with a senior club team, this year..."
When was the word "all" used by me, you are the one who alludes to clubs in the town failing not me, and thank god if you're involved with a team. We will know at the end of the year which one it is by who gets relegated

Calling out a worrying trend of people on this forum getting nasty in their posts. There was no need to be so rude and aggressive towards the other poster.

Same goes for the Eire Og PRO on here.

I'm hearing today they had to have an agm & reform on paper as the County Board were going to take the pitch off them....

Read all the posts before jumping to conclusions. He insisted that board shouldnt get any money regardless. When I suggested that it might be a good idea to develop fenagh centre he started speaking about no development in any clubs over the last number of years. When I pointed out that this was incorrect he told me, inter alia, that he was based overseas and that I was a yes man. Hehe. I'm not going to let someone preach from a position of ignorance and if this offends you I apologise. P. S. Hope my grammar is up to scratch.

If the training centre was announced last week, then yes fund it.

Reality is it's there 12 years and is an embarrassment and a visual metaphor of those running the CB. They are possibly the only house give away that ever failed. Ask yourself why that is?

How long is the training centre sponsored? Where's the money gone??

If true, surely the County Board, have more things to be doing, what business of theirs is it what happens to the pitch.? It would be good to see a club reform , more in the CBs line to assist on that front.

Fair enough, Overthebar53. Here's a virtual 'high five.'

But the training centre has been a huge addition. Anyone familiar with GAA in the county knows this. . A lot of money has been spent there in the last number of years and more money is needed to finish the job, I. E. Dressing rooms etc. I presume that is why CB were looking for some of JP cash. I think that provided it is ring fenced that such a proposal deserves consideration.

Are we hopeful for this evening? Team doesn't look too bad and Crowley and Clarkes all fit off the bench. Personally I wouldn't rate Tipp too highly so fingers crossed we can start off with a win.

Every other county has built and finished theirs to a higher standard than Carlows WITHOUT the JP money.

I am more than with GAA in the county thank you very much.

No you're not or you wouldn't be making silly comments like you have been on here. Another stupid comment from you here. Every other county does not have centres of excellence let alone have them finished. More fake news. Great win for the footballers tonight, I'm sure you're delighted or did you even know they were playing.!

Good start to the league, playing away and down to 14 men. Long way to go yet, but at least a positive result, home to Waterford next week, let's hope we can kick on with much bigger tests ahead. Div 4 always throws up bizarre results so many twists and turns yet.

Yeah credit where it's due. Carew is getting good buy in from everyone available. Great to see likes of phiri coming on and scoring. Mikey bambrick is a fabulous footballer. John Murphy injured but will be a big addition in time.

We made hard work of it but we were the better team. Easily the better team in 1st half & only went in 4 up. Went asleep for 20 mins of 2nd half & allowed Tipp to level it up but they never went ahead. We really fought hard when down to 14 & Amonds goal sealed it. Hulton got 1st yellow for arguing with ref after Tipp number 6 nearly took Furrys head off in the goal. Ref never even spoke to the nunber 6 but booked Hulton. Didnt see what the 2nd yellow was for. Great to see John Phiri get a run & he kicked a great score. All in all a win away from home in 1st round of league is very satisfactory. Lots to work on but we off the mark. Small enough Carlow support there I thought but will be bigger next week

Did you go to it?

I bet you sat at home listening to it on the radio. You can personally attack me all you want but I know I'm right.

By the way, I said every county that has "built" theirs has them finished without JP money. Obviously this doesn't include counties still building theirs. I know you're not the smartest as you think the Blues putting a bit of tarmac on their car Park is "major development".

Read your own post there and tell me again that you didn't say what you actually put down in print. Getting used to your ridiculous comments at this stage tho. Let's see now. 1.no major development has taken place in carlow in last number of years. 2 centre of excellence is a failure and no development has taken place there either. 3.every other county has better COE than us. All the above are erroneous and yet you have the gaul to state :"I know I am right"
Ever hear the saying "Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak and remove all doubt"
You'd do well to heed it in future.
Let's leave this here as after all you know you're right.
